RapSoul:Short

"Dashi run run run,nan meomchul Suga eobseo!"

'Run' blasted through BabySoul's earpieces as she hummed along softly to the tune,while searching through the shelves in the library to find her the book she wanted.

"Romeo and Juliet...where art thou?"

She stepped back and tiptoed to see if the book was there,squinting her eyes.

"Aha!"

She spotted the book up high on a high shelf.

"And whose great idea was to put the book up there?"

It wasn't that high up the shelf,but due to her height,she couldn't reach it.

"Aish-

Before she could curse,a shadow of a figure was cast over her and took the book.

She turned around to see a familiar face handing her the book,slightly smiling.

She took the book from him and he quickly walked away,after waving.

"Wait,Namjoon!"

He was already gone before she called out to him.

"You're lateeeeeee."

Seokjin called out to Namjoon as he entered the cafe and took a seat.

"Yeah,sorry about that,I got caught up in the library."

He explained as he drank the caramel macchiato in his hand.

Seokjin wiggled his eyebrows.

"Caught up by what exactly?Or should I say,who?"

He said slyly while Namjoon avoided eye contact at all costs.

"Ahem.Em.Soojung.Hem.Em"

"Oooooohhh.What did you do?"

"She was too short to take a book.So I helped her."

Let the wiggling of eyebrows commence.

"Nothing really,just a friendly encounter at the library."

Namjoon explained to him who was busy looking outside the window.

Seokjin smirked.

"Speaking of her."

He pointed outside the window,where BabySoul was walking slowly,texting on her phone.

"Oh,shit,hide-HEY!"

It was too late.Seokjin had clicked the 'send' button on Namjoon's phone.

Namjoonie:Heyyyy.Want to meet at the cafe nearby?The one right next to the library:)See ya!I'm already here:)

How he managed to type that in such a short amount of time,is a mystery.

"Byeeee Namjoon,have fun!I gotta meet Taehyung and Jungkook anyway,so my trip here isn't wasted!"

Namjoon sighed,as he held his phone nervously in his hand.He jumped when it vibrated.

Message from BabySoul.

Soul:Sure,I'm near the cafe:)

He could see her coming in from the front door.

"Shit shit shit."

Namjoon cursed as he urgently adjusted his hair and attire.

"Namjoonie!"

BabySoul called out as she took a seat in front of him,smiling,showing off her dimples.

Namjoon smiled back,showing off his dimples too.

There was comfortable silence as BabySoul ordered her coffee.

The waiter trudged to the kitchen as she faced Namjoon

He suddenly laughed.

BabySoul raised one eyebrow.

"What?"

"I didn't know you were into sappy romantic stories like Romeo and Juliet or some other Shakespeare things."

"H-Hey!Shakespeare is the best okay!"

She said before sulking.

He laughed again,as she observed his eye smile.

"Nothing,it's nothing."

BabySoul held in her laughter,but focused more on the part where he looked so cute while laughing.

"Anyway,the main point.Thank you for helping me just now."

"Nah,it's nothing.Being short wasn't your choice."

He teased her as she groaned.

"Nah,just kidding.Short people are cute!"

He commented,making Her face flush.

She took a last sip of her drink,before checking her watch.

"I have to go now,I'm sorry.It's getting late and my family would be worried."

"Ah,it's alright!We'll surely see each other in school!"

"Yup,you're right."

"I'll walk you home."

He said,as he threw the drinks in the bin,not giving her a chance to protest.The two of them walked while chatting.

The 10 minute walk seemed like a second as she stepped on her doorstep.

"Thanks for sending me home!See ya tomorrow!bai!"

"Bai!Oh!And check your book!"

He waved,as he walked to the nearest bus stop.Namjoon opened up her book to find a note inside.
