I placed my knuckles to Xander's door and knocked, loud. He didn't reply. Growling, I punched the door with my fist a couple of times, but he still didn't open. I was about to kick it open, when the door flew open and there stood Xander.

My heart skipped a beat, as I took in his disheveled state; his dirty-blonde hair was tousled, pants hanging low on his hips, and he was shirtless. Water droplets were rolling off his toned body, disappearing into the waistline of his pants. My blood warmed, as I took him in. Even though we were together for almost a year now, he still made me feel as if I saw him only yesterday.

Xander let go of the door and in one big step, towered over me. I brought my eyes up to meet his and he wrapped his strong arms around my small frame. I placed my cheek to his bare chest, as I breathed in his scent. He smelt safe, familiar. I was about to wrap my arms around him when remembered that I was angry at him and was here to get answers.

Pressing my palms to his chest I pushed him away from me. Xander chuckled and leaned against the doorframe, crossing his ankles.

"I was thinking when you would finally crack," he smirked, looking down at me.

Narrowing my eyes at him, I shoved past him and entered his room. He was laughing quietly, as he closed the door after him. His room was in an orderly fashion, as always. Bed neatly made, curtains drawn, books and papers in their designated place, unlike mine.

Coming to stand behind me, he lowered his head down to the crook of my neck, making me shiver.

"Why did you come here, Mar?" He murmured, seductively, wrapping his arms around me.

I slowly turned around and lightly pressed my hand to his bare chest. I looked up to meet his laughing honey-coloured eyes.

"I just..." I whispered, pressing on his chest causing him to take a step back.

"You just..." he repeated, tightening his hold around my waist.

"Wanted..." I took another step forward, making him take another one back.

"Yes?" He murmured, lowering his head to mine.

"To see your face when you would tell me why you left me alone," I finished, shoving him with all my strength, making him fall back on his bed.

Giving him no time to register what I was about to do, I jumped on top of him and straddled him, pinning his arms over his head.

"Are you sure about this, beautiful?" Xander murmured, his eyes laughing, as they stared up into mine.

"Oh, yes," I said, pushing harder, making him wince. "You have no idea how angry I am right now, Xander."

"I can just imagine, darling," he chuckled, "I can work with that."

I growled and got off of him. I wasn't going to get anything if we were this close. He made me crazy.

"I make you crazy, don't I?" Xander asked, leaning back on his elbows.

I whipped my head to him, shocked. How did he...?

"It's pretty obvious," he chuckled, crossing his legs.

I bent forward and quickly gathered my hair in one hand and tied it with a ribbon at the top of my head.

"Did I tell you that you look really good today?" Xander asked, eyes roaming over my tight black pants, long sleeve shirt, leather jacket and combat boots.

"I always do, but thank you very much," I snapped, walking over to his desk and sitting on the edge, stared at him.

He shook his head as a smile played on his lips.
