Amethyst:

Amethyst in Greek actually translates into "not drunk." As such, amethyst is touted among crystal healers as the ultimate go-to for addiction to any substance. The crystaline royalty stone is a favorite among recovering alcoholics too. In crystal healing amethyst helps bring its users closer to their own spirituality, bestowing wisdom, and whisking away negativity with divine wisdom. Meditating with this stone will cleanse and recharge the body, mind, and spirit.

Celestite:Yet one of the morepowerful boons of amethyst is its ability to help promote healthy functioningof essential neurotransmitters- suffering immeasurable damage from the bramblesof addiction. Amethyst serves as the guide to help many to the planes of recovery,and gives a glimpse of wholeness, perception, and realization of the potentialentombed by an untreated substance use disorder. Amethyst helps encouragewillful decision, marking the difference between passive recovery and activeparticipation. Serving to remind us of our universal calling, Amethyst helps toinspire spirtuality and wholeness of the mind.

Among one of my favorite stones is celestite. The oceanic faces of the crystal emanates a soothing aura that helps aid relaxation and banishes stress. Because addiction is caused by underlying trauma, and an inability to cope with stress, Celesite helps to quell our inner demons, and makes our course of action plain as day. Celesitie connects us to divine energy, and encourages earnest pursuit in the arts.

Uses: emotional stress relief, improves emotional intelligence, promotes universal love

Rhodochrosite is sometimes confused with Rhodonite, as both stones have similar appearances and names. Reverberating with the heart and solar plexus chakras, Rhodocrosite helps teach us self-love and self-worth. It reminds us we are forever to look inwards for love, and celebrate our successes, no matter how small they may seem to us initially. As a tool for emotional release, Rhodochrosite helps us shoulder the psychological pain ascribed to the recovery process, and reminds us to take one day at a time.
