As you can imagine, the abundance corner in your home is responsible for helping you generate money and monetary possessions. The color associated with the Southeast section of your home is lavender- but keep in mind, in any room you may apply the bauga map to energize each room as its own whole- meaning you may have multiple sources of "abundance" energy in each room's Southeast section. The element associated with abundance is wood. To invite more wealth into your life, try placing jade- a crystal of prosperity and luck- within this quadrant of your home. Anything which bears fruit will act as symbolic homage to attracting wealth and possession. Succulent plans, fruit bearing plants, and green or lavender crystals, figurines, or knickknacks can help strengthen the abundance corner of your home, or work place. (Want that raise? Try embellishing your Southeast section of your desk with the necessary accouchements.)
I believe it is safe to assert "prosperity" in this sense is meant to signify material possessions, but you may energize your personal sense of wealth, by surrounding yourself in loving energy to appreciate the possessions you do have. Do not simply stock this corner of your house with the intention of amassing wealth for wealth, have measurable goals in mind: perhaps there is a vacation you have always wanted to take, or perhaps you need to continue costly therapy. Do not take for the sake of taking, focus your energy on the things you need to progress your recovery. But hey, who couldn't use some extra income?
Ring in the elementals of the wood realm including gnomes, animals relying on trees for life, (koalas, and woodpeckers, for example). You may introduce wood in a literal sense with a wooden incense burner, or a wooden sculpture. Finding an attractive piece of driftwood also suffices- and may bring you an increased sense of personal power.
If your confidence has taken a dive because of the internal nagging of your substance use disorder, or familial unrest has ensued as a result of addiction, augmenting the Southern expanse of your home will dramatically improve how you are perceived by others, and will in turn give you the confidence boost you need to stay on the path to recovery. Someone who is confident in their commitment to sobriety is better equipped to prevent relapse, and keep their decision making level-headed in times of stress. Self-confidence translates into inner assuredness.
The Grecian symbol for fire is an upright triangle, and corresponds directly to the element of the South. To energize the Fame and Reputation center of your home, incite the aid of fire: candles, a fireplace (or mini cauldron to burn powdered incense), figurines of fire elementals (salamanders, fire fairies, fire dragons, Leo, Ares, or Sagittarius zodiac references etc.), or artistic prints of fire. Any of your accomplishments should rest at the helm of this direction: degrees, certifications, awards, trophies, and plaques of achievement. If you have accomplished it, hang it up! Like attracts like, displaying homage to your past accolades will encourage future successes. Rely on the color of fire, reds and oranges perform best here.
Inviting a healthy romantic relationship into your recovery life, should you decide to pursue one, is essential in keeping you on the track to sobriety. Getting involved with someone who is actively using is not in your best interests, especially early on in recovery. There is nothing wrong with helping to encourage your friends to get help for their untreated substance use disorders, but remember you are in a heightened period of fragility. Inviting a healthy relationship into your life introduces a newfound standard in your life going forward. Escape romantic relationships barring the enactment of transformation. Conversely, if you would like to seek someone to connect with romantically, energizing the romance corner in your home can help you meet the perfect someone.
