Best Mistake

Chapter 7

Emily's pov Saturday 7:00a.m birthday is today.

"Wake up!" Kate and Ashton screamed. Right now I was asleep in Ashtons bed because me, him, and Kate all had a sleepover. I sat up and I was 2 inches from Ashtons face. We just kept staring in each other eyes for what felt like 5 minutes. "Just Kiss already!!!" Kate yelled and we pulled apart. "Happy birth day!" They both said in usion. Ashtons phone rang from off the counter. "Excuse me I have to take this." He took the phone and walked out the room.

Ashtons pov
"Why are you calling me?" I asked harshly into the phone. "Look, I want to say sorry for what happened and I need you to take Emily out the house until I call you back." Nattellie said. I asked why but she hanged up on me.

Emily's pov
"Sorry about that." Ashton said to me. I nodded and smiled. "Can we go somewhere because Kate left me and I'm bored." I asked him. "Yeah, sure." He said and grabbed his keys. We walked out the door and he stopped out of nowhere. "Did you I now that your eyes are so beautiful?" Ashton asked me. I blushed and mumbled a thank you. Is it just me or do I blush a lot when I'm with Ashton. My phone buzzed out of my front pocket when we got in the car. I took it out and looked at it and it said
'Happy Birthday Em! :-) xx Luke'
I smiled to my self happy that someone else other than Kate and Ashton. I mean my parents didn't even say happy both day. What kind of parent does that? I said in my head.
'Thx and stop doing smiles with noses : ) xx E' I replied to Luke.
'Happy Birthday cupcake! ;-) xx Calum'  Before you start thinking anything me and Calum are just friends we just play around.
'Thanks babe xx E ;-)' I replied to him as I set my phone on my lap while Ashton was still driving. "Where are we going?" I asked Ashton and he just ignored me. I decided to not get mad about it  and I just sat back in the passengers seat. Ashton turned on the radio and One Direction 'What a Feeling' came on. (Sorry I had too, the song was stuck in my head.) As I was listening to Harrys' beautiful voice I started to drift off into a wonderful sleep.
         **Two hours later**
"Wake up Em. We're here." Ashton said shaking me slightly.
I woke up and saw Ashton opening my door. "Oh and nice bed head." Ashton said chuckling. I groaned and tried to fix my hair. "Where are we?" I asked Ashton when I got out the car. Instead of replying to me he just covered my eyes. I tried to get his hands out of my face but I couldn't. I gave up and just kept walking carefully so I won't fall. "Okay, 1! 2! 3!" Ashton yelled and he removed his hands. "Seriously. McDonald's. It took two whole hours for you to drive to McDonald's." I said wanting to punch him in the face so bad and I was just about to until my phone rang. 'Oh say, can you see. This is not who I'm supposed to be. Without you I'm nobody killing time. I try to deceive, try to win you desperately. Now I'm lost in the swirling sea of your sorry eyes. I wi-' Yep. My ringtone is catch fire from 5SOS. I got my phone out my back pocket and answered it. "Hello." I said still embarrassed that Ashton heard my ringtone. "Hey sweetie! Happy Birthday!" My mom said cheerful in the phone. "No, don't happy birthday me mom. You and dad left without even leaving a note and it's my birthday!" I said angrily into ny phone. She's just going to talk like it's ok to leave their child without saying anything. "I'm sorry sweetheart. You know I have work." She said. "Mom stop lying! You don't have work today you never have it on weekends!" I yelled creating a scene. Ashton grabbed my phone out of my hand and pressed the end button. "Don't let her ruin your special day." Ashton said calming me down. We walked in McDonald's and got our food. After we were done eating our food we went to the playground. While we were at the slide Ashton got stuck and it took me and 10 more kids to get him unstuck.
           **Back in the car**
"That was fun." I said once we got in the car.
Ashtons pov
When we were at McDonald's I pretended to get stuck in the slide....Well at first I pretended but then I actually got stuck. When the kids helped me none of them wanted to touch my butt so Emily took the spot if my ass. I'm not gonna lie, I kinda enjoyed it. We got back to the car and made some small talk but then she fell asleep. When we reached a red light I got out my phone taking a picture of her. What? If  she took a picture of me I get to take a picture of her...right? : /
