Emily's P.O.V.

"Emily!" They all yelled and tackled me to the ground. Michael put kiss all around my forehead which made Stephanie and Luke's eyes make holes through his head. I get Stephanie but Luke, I don't. I get off the ground and turned to my parents. "You know that this means that you will be on full lock down." My mother said and I smirked. "What about when you are at work. Who's gonna watch me?" I said smartly. "When we are gone, your friends are going to watch you." My dad said and I lost my smirk. Now it is their turn to smirk. "Why can't you just take the pills out of the bathroom?" I whined and my parents laughed.

"We already did." "Then why am I on lock down?" "Because you did something else." "What did I do that was so wrong that made you not trust me?" "You self-harmed."

The car ride home was so silent and awkward. After my dad announced that I self-harmed myself no one spoke to me. No one did anything with me. I was alone not physically but emotionally. We got to the house(after dropping off Stephanie) and I ran inside my room, Luke hot on my tail. I tried to close the door on him but his foot stops me from doing so. I open the door and he steps inside. "Why?" Luke's voice cracks as he says that. I looked into his eyes and water clouded the blue eyes that I can get lost to in forever. I always found Luke attracted but I never really liked him like as in I would date him. "Why what?" I ask stupidly. I know what he's talking about. I just don't want to answer. "Why would you self-harm Emily? It's just not like you." Luke said as he took a seat on the floor next to the bed. I sat next to him after I closed the door.

"It started when I got put in the foster home I started cutting because all the girls were mean to me, no one wanted me, and the foster mom never brought me out when people came to adopt us. I thought I was never going to see you guys ever again. I stopped it when I got adopted by Marie and Steve. They treated me and Kate like we were their blood-daughters. Then I started again. I started because all the hate I got out of no where. There were hashtags like #NatisbetterthanEm and more. There were rumors that I was using you guys for money but you know that's not true since I've been your friends when you guys weren't even famous. That's the answer to your question." I say and Luke hugs me. I hug him back and then he pulls back after a few minutes. "Em, uh IlikedyoueversinceImetyouandIcan'tholditinanymorewhatimtryingtosayiscanyougooutwithmetomorrownightat8:00?" Luke said really fast and took me a while to understand him. Once I finally did my eyes grew big and I nodded. "Yes!Yes,Yes,Yes,Yes,Yes,Yes! A million times yes!" I say and I push Luke to the ground by hugging him.

Flashback
Narrators P.O.V.
The year is 2000 and Emily is 5 years old. She is in her kindergarten classroom with Luke, Michael, Calum, and May. While the kids had free time Emily and May were drawing pictures of each other. The 3 boys were making a plan on how to have Emily not like Michael any more. "Maybe you can throw the teacher's ruler at her." Calum said to Michael and Luke immediately agreed; for Luke had started to grow a small crush on Emily and wanted Mikey out of the way. "Ok!" Michael said happily as he asked the teacher for a ruler and the teacher gave him one. Then he flung the ruler at her but it didn't hit her. Instead it hit Luke, he jumped in front of her. He was protecting Em from getting hurt. Emily pushed Luke to the ground by hugging him and that was the day Luke kn
