Four: Family Reunited

((Sorry; this is a really short chapter))

Cy had froze in shock, getting a good look of the man after he jumped-or, more like, flew- out of the bushes. Cy recognized this man.

It was Lynn, her uncle.

Cy had mixed feelings; shock, relief, and most of all, anger. "How could you..." Cy rage-mumbled. "How COULD YOU?!" Cy flew straight towards Lynn and falcon-punched him in the face. Nashya, Fernet, and Eirynn-who had finally caught up in the story-had to pull Cy of of Lynn, and by the time he stood up he had a heck of a bloody nose. "Nice to see you to," Lynn said calmly. "And I definitely deserve that." Eirynn whispered to Cy, "Do you know this guy?" "He's my uncle, obviously, and we also had a bad...breakup." Cy answered grimly. "And on this topic, that is why I've come back." Lynn's voice softened as he said, "I've come back to say, I'm sorry." Cy looked at him with a strange mix of love, relief, and despair. She walked up to him and wrapped her arms tightly around Lynn. "I love you, Uncle Lynn." "Love you to, Cy." Lynn had bent down to Cy's height, and told her, "Cy, I think I found...what your parents are." Cy looked at her uncle in confusion. With Nashya, Fernet, and Eirynn still looking at Lynn with shock, Lynn announced, "Cy, your parents were a Lord and a Guardian. And, that could mean...that could mean your a spirit. Not just any spirit, but one that connects the vampire and angel race together," Angels had a system of power: Angel, Guardian, God, and Spirit. Higher on the system, an angel has more powers. Vampires only have Vampire, Lord, and Spirit. Lords just use their power to control people to do their bidding, and a vampire spirit is the purest of vampires. Lynn had hope in both voice and eyes as he said, "You could just be the hope of the rebirth of the angel race and the peace between vamps and the angels."
