Love will Find a Way

Chapter 7

**Ian's POV**

I woke up the next morning feeling better then I've felt in a long time. Nina walked right back into my life last night. I'm going to get to be a dad! Not only that, I'm going to get to do it with the woman I originally wanted to start a family with. After showering and getting dressed I start some coffee in the kitchen. I also make pancakes. pancakes are mine and Nina's favorite breakfast. "Morning Ian." Nina says joining me in the kitchen. "MMMM Pancakes." she says. "Yeah, and there's a fresh pot of coffee." I say. "I can't drink that..Caffeine." Nina says "Right." I say. She goes to the fridge and pulls out orange juice. Today I'm taking Nina to the Vampire Diaries Studio to visit Julie. So we hurry through breakfast and head over there.

"Wow, I feel like I just came home" Nina says as I pull the car into a parking space at work. "Well you are coming home Looch." I say. Looking at the building in front of us I realize they are going to be surprised to see Nina. "Let's do this." Nina says and gets out of the car.

**Nina's POV**

Here I am. back at TVD studios. Coming here feels like I just came home. So many memories in this place. I'm glad I'm back. I didn't want to leave in the first place, but watching Ian gush over Nikki everyday made staying to hard. Ironic how things changed so quickly. I take a deep breath and Ian and I go inside. Filming is not scheduled to start for another few weeks so it's quiet. We go straight to Julie's office. She see us coming through her opened door. Her eyes widen and then she breaks into a big grin. "Nina! What brings you here? And with Smolder!" She says. Hi Julie, missed you too!" I say and we hug. "Sit and talk to me." Julie says. Once we're all seated I begin, "First off, we have some news." I say gesturing at Ian and I. "Okay, go on." Julie says and I can tell she's all ears. "Okay how to put this." I say  "Nina and I had a night together, a one last fling sorta thing a few months back." Ian says. "That's true we did." I say. "And I'm pregnant." 

"Wow." Julie says."Well I guess congratulations are in order."  "Anyways, I'm going to be here in Atlanta for a while. Which means I don't have anything to do and would like to come back to TVD." I say. "Yes! yes you can come back." Julie says. "Now I've got a couple scripts to rewrite!" "We will have to incorporate Nina's baby bump into the show somehow." Ian says. "Well that's easy. Damon's taking the cure." Julie says. "Sounds like a plan." I say. "Speaking of plans, I'd like to throw a welcome back Nina party." Julie says. "With the rest of the cast and crew." "Everyone is going to be surprised and happy to see you Nina." Ian says. "We said good-bye at Lake Lanier, how about we say hello there this weekend." Julie says. "Okay, I'm good with that." I say. "Excuse me, I gotta go pee." I get up and head to the bathroom.

**Ian's POV**

I'm left with Julie while Nina runs to the bathroom. "Ian, how are you with all this?" Julie says, "I mean all that you've been going through with Nikki and now this." "I know it's a lot but is it wrong to say that I might just be happy?" I say. "It's not wrong for you to be happy." Julie says. "I hear a but coming." I say. "Does Nikki know that you and Nina..well you know?" Julie says.  "She will now." I say. "I'm worried that this will make your situation with Nikki worse." Julie says. "How can it be any worse. Nikki's already done the worse thing possible?" I say. "What if she takes it out on Nina?" Julie says. "That's not going to happen." I say, "I won't let it." "Good, and for what's it's worth, Nina was always better for you." Julie says. "I'm better for Ian than who?" Nina says walking back in. "Nothing, we're just talking." Julie says. "Julie always liked you and me together." Ian says. "I think everyone liked us together." I quip with a smirk.

Ian gets up "Well we will let you get back to work." He says to Julie. "Alright, I will see you this weekend." Julie says. "And Nina, welcome back."  That went well. I'm glad that now I don't have to worry about what work is going to be like without Nina there. Julie had a point when she brought up Nikki. I'm not going to tell her but she will end up finding out. It's part of what comes with  being  celebrities. Your life is no longer your own and It's bound to get out to the paparazzi sooner or later.
