Sasha's P.O.V
I walked through town to see it was fully abounded. I carried a bag on my right shoulder and little Angel in my hands. She finally woke up and I managed to feed her and she fell asleep again. I kept walking sniffing and tears still streaming down. I stopped at the sign of the city where the entrance was.
I looked back at the town. I didn't know what to do, what if mama and papa come back...yet what if they come back. I looked down at Angel who was fast asleep.
"Must be easy to be you, sleeping and not to worry about anything."
I kissed her forehead and smiled. I looked back at the city once again then forward. I continued walking. I couldn't risk the chance of Angel, she was to important. I tried of thinking of good thoughts like, my parents coming to look for me and fought those bad people. We'll be back but ti'll everything's all cleared up.
.................
I continued walking and soon got cold and tired. The sun was about to set and I was in the middle of no where. No cars past and I haven't seen another city around for awhile. There was a forest in the distance. I could try to see if anyone is camping there.
Angel began to cry.
"Shh, are you hungry again?"
I grabbed her bottle and tried to feed it to her but she only pushed it away. I took a sniff and cringed at the smell.
"Gross, you took a poop didn't you."
I speed walked faster towards the forest. I looked for a place to lay a blanket and her on it. I chose near some pushes and stared at the diapers.
"Um..well I guess there's a first time for everything.."
After a few attempts I manged to get it on her. I smiled and made a face making her giggle. I wrapped her in her blanket and stood up. Suddenly I heard an engine. A car? I ran out the forest with Angel and saw a car on the rode.
"Help. It must be help."
I waved my hands around in the air and suddenly the car started to slow down. They shinned lights and I blocked the lights out of my eyes.
POW POW.
I got down as I recognized the noise. I quickly ran back into the forest. Why were they shooting at me! I kept running with Angel in my hands and the bag on my shoulder.
POW POW.
I quickly looked around and saw some large bushes and quickly managed to hide in them. They scratched me but I managed to blend in. I could hear voices.
Men voices. They were speaking in German. I recognized some of the words.
"Where she go!"
Was one of them.
I held my breath as they got closer. Angel looked into my eyes almost as she was confused. I bit my lip hoping she wouldn't cry. The men was right next to the bush I was at, I started to sweat as he scanned the place then walked away. I let out a quiet sigh. Yet Angel wasn't saticfied with a sigh as she giggle. I covered her mouth and I could hear one of the men stop and walk back to where I was. He stabbed the bush and the blade was an inch away from my face.
I suddenly found myself grabbing his knife and jumped out the tree. He jumped back and yelled something. I quickly ran away and once again I could hear the gun shots. I kept running ti'll I heard dogs. I breathed harder and looked around.
A pond. I quickly got in the pond and looked at Angel. I had to keep her warm. I quickly hid her in some bushes and went under water. I could hear the dogs but it stopped. I watched the men look around, suddenly the dog went near Angel. One of the men said something and took the dog away and disappeared in the distance. The other men looked where the dog was at. I saw him gasp.
No...he found her.
He opened his mouth to say something.
Nothing must hurt her.
I found myself with a knife to his neck.
I'll keep my oath. Ti'll the very end.
He fell over. I took the knife and looked over at Angel and picked her up. She looked at me and smiled showing her gums and she didn't have teeth. I quickly ran taking the bag and ran from the crime. I had to run as far as I could.
I pulled at my hair.
What did I just do...
I just committed murder.
