Light's P.O.V
I followed chief to her car. We drove to her house in silence, I wasn't up to talk as I knew I had to explain everything to Angel and I didn't want to talk to her either. Bet she feels the same. We pulled up to a familiar house but not the same as before. I got out and held Angel's hand, we walked in and I felt the memories return. Ones that made me smile and ones that I wished I never have to remember again.
"You guys can go to the extra room and sleep there," Chief said without looking at me.
I nodded even though she was looking the other way. I led the way to the room, it was all white. Repainted and everything taken down only a bed. The bed I once slept in. I felt cold just looking around I didn't want to be here. I had no choice.
"Light. Are you okay, you look like you're gonna cry," Angel said.
"I'm fine."
There was a knock on the door and I turned to see mo- I mean chief.
"Well make yourself at home..," she looked at me before continuing. "For now."
I had a fist behind my back. It felt as if my heart shattered into pieces but I kept a straight face. Why did I return.
"I'll keep you updated. See you later," she said before shutting the door.
I waited ti'll I heard the front door close and I let out a sigh and grasp my chest not even feeling the tears run down my cheeks.
"Light!" Angel yelled running towards me.
I smiled through the tears in pain,
"I'm fine...no I'm not."
Sasha's P.O.V
I sat watching the girl sleep right next to me. I'm surprised she didn't go with the other little girls, something seemed off. Maybe a lead. The whistles went off and everyone got up, the girl opened her eyes and got up,
"Hm, what's going on?"
"It's time to get to work," I sighed.
"Ah, right. I should get Mar-" she stopped in mid sentence and her expression changed to sad.
"It's okay, she's somewhere better where she doesn't have to suffer."
"Heaven right?"
I smiled,
"Yeah, come on."
We got into lines and got called out. Then we went to work, luckily the girl got to stay with me.
"What's your name," she asked.
"Sasha, how about you."
"My name is Sam," she smiled.
I smiled and continued picking up heavy packages,
"I wonder when we'll get out," she sighed.
I looked at her smiling more,
"Don't worry we will, I'm actually working with a group who will bail us out of here," I said.
"Wow, that's amazing."
"Yeah but I'll need help and some brave people."
She raised her hand in the air and jumped.
"Oo! Oo! I'm brave," she said making her self look buff.
I chuckled,
"Don't worry you can help," I smiled.
She really was like Angel but with dirty blond hair and blue eyes. I sighed,
"A couple more days I hope ti'll we'll leave."
I felt my back began to ache. The wounds still stung but were healing. I hope she doesn't have to go through the same.
"Are you okay? You look hurt," she asked tilting her head.
I smiled,
"Don't worry I'm fine."
