Gena's P.O.V
We were on a way to our first camp named Lubeck. We we're in a jeep after tense training, Angel had to stay behind and work with other kid soldiers. It took awhile to convince her we'll be back. I bit my lip nervous hoping Sasha was there.
"So first is we have to help out with the burning then we'll soon move on to seeing those dead bastards, lastly you guys will call roll call."
Shivers went up and down my spine...dead bodies. I bit my lip tighter making it bleed a little, I felt a hand on mine. Thomas. He looked into my eyes and I could read them, telling me to stay calm. I looked out the jeep to see we were approaching the place. We were greeted by other Soldiers and we parked.
"Ah, betting plug your nose. They smell worse when they burn," the man chuckled.
Thomas eye flinched with anger,
"K-keep calm," I stuttered.
Yet I couldn't keep my own calm. We followed him and it was still dark outside, I looked around to see it was quiet. Then I smelled an awful scent. I sneezed,
"Bless you," said a man next to me.
I looked up to see his hazel eyes look down at me,
"Thank you."
I looked away and continued walking next to Thomas. I could hear him make a Tsk sound. Tsk to him too. We walked into a building and that's when my blood went cold and my heart stopped...bodies being dumped into the fire.
"Welcome to the burner. You guys will take charge. Good luck."
Me and Thomas stood there and I couldn't breath. Tears streamed down my eyes,
"W-W-hat kind of monsters..."
Thomas carried one and his hands shook before he dumped the dead body into the fire. I ran to him,
"What are you doing!"
Tears streamed down his eyes,
"I-It's for Sasha."
For one person...out of a million. I can't believe I thought this was a good idea... I screamed falling on my knees pulling at my hair. No one could hear us as the machines were loud. Tears streamed down my cheeks. Kill me now..
Sasha's P.O.V
I was awoken by men yelling. It was early in the morning now,
"Get up you snobs!"
I sat up rubbing my eyes. I quickly ran into roll call and searched for light. I couldn't find him.
"Light? Where are you," I called out.
I checked his bunk to see he wasn't there. I sighed and went to work carrying large bags stuff. Sweat streamed down the side of my face. I looked to my right to see someone...Light. He looked terrible, blood dripping from his head. I ran to him,
"Light! What happen."
His eyes were blood red...he was crying.
"I-I remembered s-something. I'm a monster."
I hugged him,
"N-No you're not, that was you before."
"And I love it..."
Suddenly I was pushed way from him. His pupils were small,
"I-I'm sorry."
He quickly ran away, I got up,
"Wait!"
Suddenly something grabbed my arm, I turned to see two Nazi soldiers. They dragged my away from everyone. My heart beats hard..
"Shh," one whispered.
It lifted up it's hat...Gena. My eyes widened. Her eyes were blood red..she too was crying.
"G-Gena."
"Ah, there you are Ada..."
"Who do you think you are not working," yelled Gena at me.
I flinched and Thomas grabbed me,
"Answer her."
The other man watching chuckled..he looked familiar. The one that whipped me,
"Seems like she needs another beating."
He grabbed me and tied my hands on a bar hanging. He passed Gena the whip,
"Go for it."
Gena's hands shook, she couldn't. Suddenly Thomas grabbed it from her and whipped my stomach tearing the bottom of my shirt. I screamed in pain. Another....they kept coming and blood poured. From the distance I saw Light, his eyes staring into mine. Anger filled them and I saw something in his hand. A knife.
"Ten!"
I was dropped down.
"We'll take her from here," Thomas smiled.
"Alright."
The man left and Thomas quickly got down to me,
"Are you alright...I'm sorry."
"I-It's fine... It's not the first t-time."
I looked back to see Light gone. He quickly grabbed me and Gena's running towards the exit. There a jeep waited. He hid me in the back covering my with blankets.
"Come on," he whispered to Gena.
The Jeep started and I peeked out to see Light again. No..I don't want to leave him. He looked sad.
"L-Light..."
I felt myself falling asleep. He sighed and took out the blade. Then ran stabbing a Nazi guard with a wide smile. Nazis ran towards him ...
"l..igh...t."
