Sasha's P.O.V

I opened my eyes slightly as the sun was hitting them. I yawned and stretched. I looked over to my right to see my journal lying on the floor. My dad owns a book shop and he had an empty journal and so he gave it to me. I use it to write my day but when I get older I can look back at it and be happy. I grabbed my book and stuffed it into my bag

I walked over to my closet and grabbed my coat and my boots. I wore them then grabbed my bag. I opened my door and walked out to the kitchen. I saw my mom cooking making pancakes.

"Hello cupcake," she smiled.

"Hi mommy, hi Angel."

My mommy was going to have a baby and she's going to be my little sister. She says she's living in her stomach and coming next month on February. I sat down on the chair,

"You want some pancakes?"

"Yeah,"I cheered.

She placed a plate of pancakes in front of me and I quickly started eating them. I heard the front door open and closed. My dad came into the kitchen, he kissed my mom then smiled at me.

"You want to join me at the book shop today?"

"Yeah. Can I mommy."

"Hm, alright but you have to behave."

I nodded and finished my last piece of pancake and grabbed my bag.

"Let's go then."

I followed my dad to his car and we drove into town. We turned to the corner to the parking lot. I got out and followed my dad. There was other shops like clothes and shoes. I looked at the stores and peeked inside. I kept walking when I saw a sign that had a familiar symbol. It was the sign that we had around our house with a star. It had an X on it marking it out and big letters saying,

NO JEWS ALOUD.

Soon I started seeing them in most stores.

"Dad, why do they have signs on there windows?"

He didn't answer but then he smiled,

"Well Sasha there's some people who don't stuff like this one time I caught a kangaroo and took to the store and the owner had a sign saying No kangaroos. We can make one up too, what don't you like."

"Are you sure dad, I've never seen a kangaroo here."

"It just popped up."

I thought about it then nodded,

"I don't like spiders."

"Alright then we'll make a sign saying 'No spiders aloud'."

I giggled,

"Alright."

We turned to our book shop and I sat down in my desk.

"Alright I'll go get some books that were donated and we can fill the shelves more."

I nodded. He left to the back and I took out my journal and started writing.

Dear LifeBook,

i found out papa caught a kangaroo once and now theirs signs everywhere. he said he will make one for me saying no spiders aloud and i can decorate it all pretty so no spiders are aloud. hopefully the spiders won't think about it to much its just that they scare me with there eyes. well that's all I have to say
