Sasha's P.O.V
I sat down in the cafeteria and ate as I was starving. Sam sat next to me eating too, I shared some of my bread making sure no one was watching, even though I was starving she deserved it. She needed it to stay alive too. I watched the guards and noticed them talking to each other, they looked worried but I didn't know what they were saying.
"They seemed scared don't you think," mumbled Sam.
"Yeah I wonder of what..hopefully it's my crew."
Sam stopped and stared down. I looked at her confused.
"Moving. Marching, I can't understand much German but I know a bit."
"Wow, who taught you."
"My sister she knew a bit from listening and I learned from her."
I nodded, why would they be moving. Maybe they're abandoning the place? Marching. Who us? They don't plan on taking us with them are they. I wonder what Angel and Light are up too.
Light's P.O.V
I sat on the bed.
"Light who are you, what's going on, please tell me," Angel begged.
"My name is Aron Laux. Son of the Chief and was the son of the head leader of the Nazi. Though I didn't know that neither did my mother. It's as if two enemies fell in love but one kept secrets..."
I remember the day clear like my name. Me and my parents a happy family. At least we were...
3 Years earlier.
I went to school like any other boy and war was going on but here it was nothing our leader was rising and my father got a promotion he told my mother. Though he lied about his job and we didn't know.
I remember being taught to hate Jews that they were a lower class then me. My mother never believed in that and always told me
"Everyone is the same, treat them like you would want to be treated."
So I did. Though everything came crashing down when my mother found folders in my fathers office.
"What is this? Why are these in your office!" she yelled
"What are you doing in my office, this isn't your business get out."
"My business? This can ruin my job! Y-your one of them."
"Shut up and I'm taking the kid to school."
I was confused. I went to school and hung out with my friends with my father in the distance. I noticed my friend had fear in his eyes.
"What's wrong?"
"Is that your father?" he whispered.
I turned and looked at my father who had a hard cold stare. Why was he looking at him like that,
"Y-Yeah why?"
The kid glared at me and suddenly grabbed me by the throat squeezing hard,
"You murder! You killed my family, y-y-you Nazi!" he yelled.
Everything was going black when suddenly there was a gun shot. His hands loosened and I saw his eyes teary and wide. A bullet through his head, suddenly my father grabbed me and hugged me.
"Stupid Jews," he yelled.
I felt stiff, and sick to my stomach.
Later that night my father and my mother were yelling in the living room. I got up and watched as they argued.
"I thought you were different," yelled mother through her tears.
"I love you! But this has to be done, those Jews are the fault, they murder. They almost killed our son!"
I walked into his office and opened up his drawer and grabbed the gun. I put an extra bullet in my pocket. I walked out and towards them. Suddenly he slapped my mother and I aimed.
"They deserve to go to hell!" he yelled.
"No." I mumbled.
He turned and his eyes were wide.
"No...they don't deserve this. They don't. You do."
I pulled the trigger and my mother screamed as my father fell down tumbling over the coffee table. I walked over to where I saw his body and kept shooting with my mother yelling ti'll she ran over to me pulling the gun away.
I looked at her and her eyes were filled with fear.
"Why! What is wrong with you!" she screamed.
"He was a bad man, he was one of them," I said.
Suddenly she aimed the gun at me and pulled the trigger but nothing came out. She looked pale. I glared at her through my tears and pulled out the bullet in my pocket and held it out.
"Here you wanna pull the trigger on me. Do it."
She dropped the gun and fell to her knees. I looked at her. The door slammed open and soldiers ran in.
"What's going on he-"
They looked at my mother then at me.
"What happened," they said looking at father.
Mother didn't answer and they took us. They worked with father and they took us and questioned us. We ended at the concentration camp. My mom lied about who she was, she was in the army and she knew if she could pull this off she'll be promoted. But I was the thing that dragged her down.
They took her and were unable to take me.
"I'll be back Light I promise."
So I waited....and waited..she never did keep her promise. Then I heard a couple of soldiers.
"What happened to the boys mother?"
"She escaped she fled somewhere and we can't find her. She told us before she left we could keep the kid."
They laughed.
I remember hearing those words. I remember the numbness, I remember the betrayal. The HATE. They took me in and later heard she ran off and hid from the Nazis. While I...I stayed behind beaten and soon knocked out.
Angel looked at me with disbelief.
"You...Light I can't believe it."
I shrugged,
"Neither can I ti'll this day, but I don't care no more."
I turned away angry. I felt Angel's hand on my shoulder. It hurts.
"Well I guess we both haven't had a real mother."
I looked over to her. Right, her mother she was never found. I wonder where she is now.
"Light I want you to know I'll never abounded you. Never will I think about it no matter what family you came from or what you've done because I know you've changed you're different and better."
I smiled and hugged her,
"Thanks. Come on all Angel's need to sleep."
She smiled and I tucked her in bed. I kissed her forehead and sat down on a chair in the room. I sighed.
"I hope that promise isn't a lie."
