Still In Love With You

Joe walked out of the kitchen and into the living room where Demi was talking to both Alex and Vanessa. Demi noticed Joe standing there, she got up and walked over to him.

Demi: 'Can we talk alone." (Hopeful)

Joe: "Sure, I guess."

Demi: "Ok."

Joe: "Also my mum has asked you and you're would stay for dinner."

Demi: "Ok, well it looks like Nessa really likes Alex."

Joe: "Yea so let's talk in my room."

Demi: "Ok."

Demi and Joe walked off after telling Alex he can stay for dinner. Alex noticed Demi walking off with Joe upstairs.

Alex: "Hey Vanessa, who was that Demi was walking off with?"

Vanessa: "My brother Joe."

Alex: "Oh but I thought your brother died."

Vanessa: "He did, I have two; well I did have two until Nick died."

Alex: "I'm sorry."

Vanessa: "It's fine."

Joe opened his bedroom door and waited for Demi to walk in. When she did he followed behind her. Demi sat on the bed and looked around the room.

Joe: "So you wanted to talk, so talk." (Cold tone)

Demi: "I just wanted to say I'm sorry for how I treated you when I was last here."

Joe: "It's fine, you were looking for some fun."

Demi: "No it's not fine Joe, I hurt you and I didn't mean to, I was scared of letting myself fall in love again. Then you came and changed that for me. It just took a bit longer for me to realize that I didn't just hurt you, but myself and my son."

Joe: "So where are you going with this?"

Joe was now sitting on the bed next to Demi, when she got up to face him.

Demi: "I'm trying to tell you that I love you and the feelings I have for you are a lot stronger that what I once had for Nick."

Joe: "Oh." (Shocked)

There was a long silence until Joe broke it and it wasn't want Demi was expecting to hear.

Joe: "I'm sorry; I don't know what to say. But I'm with someone else now."

Demi: "Yes, but do you love her."

Joe: "I don't know Dems, it's still really new."

Demi: "Ok, do you love me?"

Joe: "Yes I know that I do."

Demi: "Well that answers my first question."

Joe: "So what do we do now?"

Demi: "Well..."

Demi moved closer to Joe, who was still sitting on his bed. She stood in between his legs and looked down to him and smiled at him. Joe felt so happy that Demi finally came to him, but was it too late for them. Joe was about to get up and hug her but she stopped him.

Joe: "What?"

Demi: "There's more." (Hopeful)

Joe: "What do you mean?" (Curious)

Before Demi had a chance to answer that there was a knock on the door. Joe got up to answer it.

Joe: "Hey, what's up?"
