Joe sat on his bed thinking about what just happened with Demi, he felt bed because Demi was once his brother’s girlfriend. But now that didn’t matter now that Nick was gone, Joe thought maybe he would have a chance with her. Then his phone started to ring, he answered it only to hear Ashley bitching about something.
Joe: “What’s up Ash?”
Ashley: “What’s up my car won’t start and I wanted to go and have lunch with you. So will you come and get me then.”
Joe: “Oh sure I’ll be there soon.”
Ashley: “Great.”
Joe got off the phone to Ashley and went to get ready to go and get her. once he was ready he grabbed his jacket and keys and ran down the stairs.
Vanessa: “Where are you off to Joe?”
Joe: “Going out with Ashley.”
Vanessa: “Well have fun then.”
Joe: “Yea I will try.” (Glances at Demi)
Demi looks at him when she notices him glancing her way, she walks away to find Selena and Ben. Joe left to go and get Ashley so they could go out to lunch, Demi found Selena and Ben in the living room watching a movie.
Demi: “Hey guys, what are we watching?”
Ben: “Transformers 3.”
Demi: “Cool; I bet you are loving it.”
Ben: “Yep.” (Big smile)
Demi: “Hey Sel is it ok if you watch Ben, while I go and take care of something.”
Selena: “Sure, it’s fine. You can also take my car.”
Demi: “Thanks I shouldn’t be long.”
Selena: “Yep.” (Smiles)
Demi went and grabbed her purse and left to go and see someone. Demi went to see her friend since high school, she hadn’t seen them since they moved here. Once she got there, she knocked on the front door and waited for them to answer.
Taylor: “Oh my god Demi, what are you doing here?”
Demi: “Well Ben and I came for a visit.”
Taylor: “Awesome, come in then.”
Demi walked in after Taylor and they sat down in the living room to talk and catch up.
Taylor: “So what made you visit?”
Demi: “You remember Ben’s father, well he died about 8 months ago.”
Taylor: “Oh I’m sorry for your lost.”
Demi: “Thanks; then my second day here I go and kiss his brother.”
Taylor: “What ok so what happened to make you go and kiss him?”
Demi: “I was angry and Miley was there which made it worst. So Joe takes me to his room to calm down and well I started hitting him then the next thing we are kissing or I should say making out.”
Taylor: “Oh so it was like that was it.”
Demi: “Yes and I don’t know what to do.”
Taylor: “What do you mean?”
Demi: “Well when we were kissing I felt something that I think was a lot stronger then when I was with Nick.”
Taylor: “Wow so what is the problem?”
Demi: “Joe had a girlfriend and he’s Nick’s brother…I mean would it be wrong.”
Taylor: “Yes and No.”
Demi: “I don’t get it.”
Taylor: “Yes because Joe has a girlfriend and no because it doesn’t matter if he’s Nick’s brother. Besides Nick would have wanted you to be happy and if that’s with his brother then great at lease it’s with someone that Nick loved and trusted with his life.”
Demi: “You know you sound so much like Sel.”
Taylor: “Who?”
Demi: “Selena, Nick’s sister, also what about the fact that I don’t live here, I only came to see where Nick was buried and so Ben could meet his family on his father’s side.”
Taylor: “I get it, but you can’t help that you fell for Joe.”
Demi: “I know.” (Sighs)
Demi left about an hour later and went to see her sister and see how she was doing with her ex. Demi knocked on the hotel room door and waited for Simone to answer.
Simone: “Demi what are you doing here?”
Demi: “I came to see if you were ok.”
Simone: “Oh yea we are ok.”
