                     Amanda woke up from her peaceful dream by the loud  sound of someone knocking on her door. They knocked three times, so  Amanda buried her face in her pillows and ignored whoever was knocking,  that was until that person knocked again but this time harder and  faster. Amanda shot up infuriated. First we got to move, now I can't even be allowed to sleep?

    "AMANDA  COME ON!", said the voice of a certain annoying twelve year old boy  known as Peter. Her younger brother would always do something annoying  in the morning like this. "MOM SAYS TO GET YOUR LAZY BUTT DOWNSTAIRS!  NOW!"

    "FINE!", Amanda yelled back. "JUST GIVE ME A MINUTE!"

     Amanda waited until she heard her brothers footsteps fade away and go  down stairs. She sluggishly rose from her bed and opened the door to go  to the bathroom across the hall. When she got into the bathroom she  took her bright orange tooth brush and applied the tooth paste and began  to brush her teeth. Then she took a quick five minute shower. When she  was done she rinsed her face and looked at the mirror, and all she could  see was a girl on a bad hair day.

    "Jeez", Amanda said out loud. "I am a total mess!"

     So Amanda pulled out her brush and began to brush her short brown  hair. When she was done she opened the bathroom door she was greeted by  her ten year old little sister Terri.

    "Good Lord! Took you long enough! I was considering calling the FBI to get you out of there", Terri said sarcastically.

    "Shut up Terri", Amanda snapped back. "And fifteen minutes isn't a long time."

     "Whatever Amanda" Terri said rolling her eyes and pushing Amanda out  of the bathroom and closing the door behind her. Amanda rolled her eyes  and went her room to pick and outfit. In the end she went with her  favorite dark purple shirt, dark blue jeans, and black converse.

~~~Time skip 10 minutes~~~
     Amanda sat down at the table munching on her delicious breakfast,  bacon and eggs with toast. Amanda looked up form her food when she heard  the footsteps of her siblings, Peter and Terri. Peter came down first,  he was wearing his favorite Yankees T- shirt and dark blue jeans. He  looked a lot like is father dark black hair and light skin. Next came  Terri, her light brown hair tied in a neat ponytail that practically  screamed "I'm just and innocent school girl!" that almost made  Amanda scoff. Terri wore a white dress shirt with a black tie, black  skirt, and knee high socks with shiny black shoes. Peter began to pour  himself cereal as Terrie started to get a plate.
    "Hey dad", Peter called out suddenly.
    "Yes Peter", replied his father not looking up from the his newspaper.
    "When are we really gonna move?", Peter asked tilting his head a bit. Amanda stopped chewing her food to look at her father.
    "We're planning on moving September seventh", his father replied. Amanda choked on her food.
    "WAIT, WHAT!", Amanda yelled in shock. "THAT'S LIKE A WEEK OR SO FROM NOW!"
     Her father looked up from his newspaper to look at Amanda. "We have  to move soon so I can keep the job offer, and besides, moving isn't such  a bad thing it could be a good experience for the family."
    "But I like it here!", Amanda argued. "And beside there was a mass murder somewhere in the town YOU plan on moving US to!"
     "That killers been looked away for years now", her dad replied  looking back at his news paper. "And beside you, and your brother and  sister will get spots at the private school I'll be teaching at."
     Amanda was about to yell at her father again but her mother called  from the kitchen saying that the school bus was outside at the bus stop.  Amanda looked at her father and thought humph! Save by the bell! She angrily got up and walked out he front door without saying good bye.
(I  really like how the story is coming along so far. I decided I want to  be horror/thriller, but nothing scary has happened cause they didn't  move yet. But don't worry in the next few chapter things will get more  interesting)
