I wait until Amanda leaves the kitchen and exits the house. I smirk behind my mask. She'll see my surprise soon! Oh joy! I hope she likes it.

I chuckle out loud as I stand up and stretch my back. I lifted up my shirt to inspect my bullet proof vest. I was so glad that my partner had been able to obtain it for me. If it weren't for my dear friend I would most certainly have been dead.

But I won't be dying anytime soon.

I get up and head out towards the woods again. I still have to make sure she reached my surprise.

I barely get two yards into the woods before I hear a blood curdling scream but filled with anger and hate. Not fear.

She found my surprise!

"Are you ready for the grand finish?" A voice behind me asks. I turn around to be greeted with the face of my partner.

"Born ready."

I wipe hot tears from my face. How could I be so furious and devastated at the same time? I look at Terri. There is no way in hell I'm going to just leave her up there. Slowly I begin to drag a chair from the kitchen next door and place it near her body. I grab my hunting knife and stepped onto the chair. In one swipe I cut the rope carry her down.

I lay her down on the dusty old sofa. She looks so peaceful. How could I let this happen?

She's gone. Dead. I will never hear her voice again. Never hear her make snarky comments. Never have arguments over little insignificant things. I look at her neck. There is a dark purple line where the rope was. She had severe rope burn on her throat.

I look into her eyes. Her now lifeless eyes. She seemed to be starring back at me. I slowly lifted my hand to bring down her eyelids.

"I'm sorry Terri."

After what feels like hours I get up again. I stumble out of the cabin. Where did Genocide want me to go again? Crystal Lake? But didn't I kill her?

(No. You didn't)

I continued to trek my way towards the lake. Grief heavy in my heart. Why did it have to be her? Why not me? I wish it would have been me. Suddenly I found myself unable to stand. I leaned onto one of the trees. Even if I was able to save my father, I had already lost Terri. Wait.

My father.

In her note she said your "bastard of a father". Why would she say that? Did he have something to do with this? Suddenly I was flooded with curiosity. What did my father have to do with this?

I stood up straight again my eyebrows furrowing in confusion. What the hell did he have to do with this?

I want answers, I thought as I sprinted in the direction of the lake. I need answers.

Here I am.
I stare at the lake. The dark murky green water could be God knows how deep. I wondered my eyes toward the docks. There was something on the wooden pier. Sitting in a chair, well more like tied up. That's dad!

Look to my side before cautiously dashing toward the pier. I run up to my father. His is leaning forward with a gag on his mouth. He opens his eyes and suddenly sits straight. His eyes double in size as I remove the gag.

"Amanda. Oh thank God you're okay!" He gasps. "Where's Terri? Is she alright?"

I stop.
What could I say? Oh sorry your daughter and my sister is dead.
