Chapt. 10: Lost Angel(s)

David POV

I was waiting in the waiting room. God I hope Geovanna is okay. I can't lose her, she can't lose her baby.

I should call Kara. It's for the best.

K-Hello?

D-Sorry not sorry if I woke you up but Geovanna is in the hospital.

K-What?! Why?!

D- That doesn't matter right now. What matters is you bring your ass here soon. It's the hospital 10 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower.

K- Okay Marco and I will be there soon.

D- Hurry!

I hung up and sat back down on the chair. Tapping my foot rapidly up and down nervously.

I saw a doctor come out from Geovanna's room. "Are you here for Geovanna Emboaba?", the doctor asked. "Yes.", I said and stood up. "Hi I'm Dr. Santos", the doctor said and gave me her hand.

"Brazilian?", I asked as I shook her hand."Yes anyways Geovanna is fine.", Dr. Santos said. "Oh than-""DAVID!", I hear someone interrupt me. I turn and see Marco and Kara.

"They are also here for her, can we see her?", I ask. "Yes you may.", Dr. said and everyone went in the room.

Geovanna's POV

I started waking up and I see all white and it's blurry. "Where am I?", I ask to my self. "Geovanna?!", I heard David. "Oh my god your up thank god.", I heard Kara say. I look over to right and see Marco, Kara and David. "Marco I haven't seen you in a long time.", I said and everyone came up to hug me.

"My baby!", I said I put up my hospital dress and still saw a bump. So I didn't lose my baby?!

The doctor comes in the room. "Oh Geovanna you are awake.", the doctor said. "Yup, oh yeah I have a question well it's not really but anyways so I didn't lose my baby right?", I said.

She sighed, "That's what I was just going to talk about." She pulled out a chair and sat next to me. "Is okay if they stay?", she said referring Kara, Marco and David. "Yes.", I said.

"Oh first I haven't introduced myself I'm Dr. Santos, okay so I don't know how to say this so do you want good news or bad news first.", she said.
Oh no.

"Good news.", I said. "Well one of them is alive.", she said. I sighed in relief until I realized she said one of them. "Wait what do you mean one of them I don't have twins?!", I said.

"Well you do and one of them is alive and one is dead.", she said and everyone gasped. I started crying. I lost one of my babies.

"I don't get it, it doesn't make sense I would of been two babies on my ultrasounds right?", I asked sobbing.

"Yes but from what I can tell you the alive baby developed after the other one. You are not 7 months you are less than that we can take blood test and a ultrasound to figure this out okay don't worry. I am really sorry Geovanna.", Dr. Santos said.

"Okay thank you.", I said wiping my eyes. She left the room and I started crying more. "Aw Geovanna it's okay.", Kara said coming up to me and sat right next to me comforting me.

"No it's not okay what did I do to deserve this, why god why?", I ask. "Geovanna think of it like this, god has another beautiful angel with him and he is protecting your baby. Your baby is safe and will always be in your heart.", Marco said.

"Thank you Marco.", I said. "Anytime.", Marco said. "I still can't believe I was having twins it just doesn't make sense.", I said calming down. "Yeah that's weird.", David said.

Dr. Santos came in the room. We took a few blood test and other stuff.

"Okay Geovanna we are going to do an ultrasound may you pull up your shirt please and you already know its cold.", she said then chuckled. Oh yes this gel shit is cold.

I saw my baby on the screen everyone gasped. Why is everyone gasping?

"You know it a boy right?", Dr. Santos said. "What?", I said. "Well your baby that passed was a girl and this one is a boy.", Dr. Santos said. I started crying. I'm glad I'm having a son it's just i can't do it all alone? My son needs a father.

"What's wrong honey?", Dr. Santos said. "My son won't have a father, I can't teach him stuff a father does with their son! I can't do it alone.", I said sobbing.

"You will find a way Geovanna and plus we will help we are the godparents.", Kara said.

"Wait your the godmother? Aw I have to deal with you more?!", David joked. "Shut up curly you know you love me.", Kara said. Marco had this weird face the 'he ain't stealing my girl' look which made me chuckle. If I was Marco I don't know what to do.

"Don't worry Geovanna you will get through it all," Dr Santos said. "At least he will be a mommas boy so he will never leave you." I started feeling better.

"I'm pretty sure your son will be handsome because well look at you.", Kara said. "Thank you all.", I said.
