Chapter 38: Happy New Year Baby

Geovanna's POV

2 months later

We are in Brasil and it is the day before New Years Eve. I'm 4 months pregnant. I have to go to my doctor to find out the gender and other things. I want it to be a surprise for Neymar so I'm going alone and say I'm going to my friends.

"Babe I'm leaving now!", I said and went to the door. Neymar came over to me. "Do you really have to go?", Neymar said and hugged my waist. "Yes sorry I'm not really sorry.", I said. "I love you.", he said. "I love you too ney i'm leaving now.", I said and kissed him.

"What do you think the gender is?", my doctor asked. "I think it's a boy Neymar hopes it's a girl.", I said. "The mother is always right so you never know.", she said and put the gel on my stomach. She moved that one thing on my belly and was looking at it closely.

"It's a girl!!", she said. "Oh my God!!", I exclaimed and started tearing up. "I guess Neymar was right this time.", my doctor said. "I guess so.", I said.

I went to the store and bought stuff for the cake tomorrow, Marcela said she needed some ingredients. We are having friends and family over.

"Guys I'm back!", I said and closed the door. Neymar came over to me. "You're back quick I don't care I missed you.", he said and kissed me. "I missed you too.", I said. "How's the baby?", Neymar asked rubbing my stomach. "Sh-the baby is good.", I said I almost said the gender.

"Marcela I need to talk to you.", I said and Neymar let me go. I pulled her into the hallway.

"Okay so today I went to the doctor to know what the gender is.", I said and she gasped. "Without Neymar?", she asked. "I want it to be a surprise so I had an idea of the cake that you're making to put the gender color in it.", I said. "That's a good idea! What's the gender?", she asked. "A girl.", I whispered. "Oh my God ney is going to be so happy!", she said "Yup.", I said.

I sat by Neymar on the couch he was watching the celebrity news. "Sit on my lap.", Neymar said and I sat on his lap.

"Let's talk about Geovanna Emboaba for a second, because we haven't heard about her since the breakup. She was out earlier today wearing an oversize Chelsea hoodie. There was a little bump formed. She is either fat or pregnant. Let us know what you think is going on with geovanna."

Neymar was laughing hysterically. "Neymar that is not funny, you see what happens when you get me pregnant.", I said and slapped him. "I'm s-sorry baby.", he said and I just got off and went upstairs. I still heard him laughing. I went in our room and went to take a nap. I heard neymar coming in the room. "I'm sorry for laughing I love you.", I heard neymar whisper and kissed my cheek.

Next day

It's New Year's Eve!! I can't wait to see Neymar's reaction!! I started getting Liam ready for the party.

"Okay now you play with davi and papai.", I said and kissed his cheek. I went to take a shower and get ready myself.

"I need one dance!! Got a Hennessy in my hand!!", I sang in the shower. I heard the door open. "Babe chill you shouldn't be drinking Hennessy.", Neymar said over the music and water. I tried covering myself and opened the shower door a little bit. "Neymar!! What are you doing here?", I said.

"I need to shave I have to look like my friend Baby Face Assassin Curry style!!", he said and laughed. I rolled my eyes and continued showered. He's been pissing me off lately or i'm just pregnancy. I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me. I went in our closet and closed the door. I put on the clothes I picked.

I put on makeup and curled my hair. "Babe hurry up people are coming!!", I heard neymar yell. "Okay, Okay.", I said and started walking downstairs. "You look sexy Geovanna.", Neymar said in my ear. "Haha nice try Neymar no but you look handsome thank you.", I said and he opened the door.

We invited a lot of people: Gil, Jo, Gustavo, Kara, Marco, Anaïs, Our parents, Gabriella, Daniella, Oscar, Ludy, Julia, Dani, Carolina, Alex, Rafinha, David, Thiago, Lucas, Rafaella, and then some other of Neymar's friends.

"Cake time!", Marcela said and brought out the cake. On the outside it's black and white in the inside its pink.

Marcela gave me the knife and smiled. I don't know why i'm scared. "I'll do it Geovanna.", Neymar said and took the knife out my hand. He cut it down the middle and seperated it. Everyone saw it was pink and just furrowed their eyebrows. Then they finally got the message. "I don't get it why is it pink?", Neymar said.

"Oh my God Neymar it's obvious.", Rafaella said. "No why does everyone know except me?", Neymar said. "Oh my gosh!" Neymar senior said in shame how Neymar is that stupid not to know. "Okay you know when I said I went to my friends.", I said. "Yeah.", he said. "I lied I went to the doctor to see what gender the baby is.", I said.

"Ohhh I get it!! We are having a girl?!", he asked happily. "Yes.", I said. He hugged my waist and kissed me and everyone cheered. "Why didn't you tell me?", Neymar asked. "It was a surprise.", I said.

It was night time and everyone was gone. Davi went to Carolina's and Liam is asleep In his own room. Yup.

I got ready for bed when Neymar was already in bed. "I still can't believe we're having a girl.", Neymar said. "Well believe it.", I said and went in bed. Neymar started rubbing my belly.

"Hey baby girl its papai i'm so excited for you to come into this world. I know you are going to be beautiful just like your mamae. Davi, Liam, and I will protect you from all the bad boys and beat their ass up. I will spoil you so much. I love you.", he said and kissed my belly. I was tearing up a little bit. Hormones I swear.

"Hey babe it 12:00!!2020!!", I said. "Yup happy New Year baby I love you.", neymar said. "I love you too Neymar.", I said and kissed him.
