"Em, Em!" I heard a voice. It sounded like Max! "Help me!" He said. "Help me..." He said again and I was in total darkness.

I opened my eyes and saw I was in a dark room, full of cages? "Hello? Max!" I exclaim and see my little brother. "Emma!" He whimpers laying against the cold stone floor. "What happened?" I asked sitting him up and hugging him tightly. "You left us." He replied. "What?" I said and broke away from Max's hug. "You died, we suffered and had to move on! You held us together! How could you leave us!" He started to shout. "Max? I tried to save you! And Youth!" I argued and cupped his pale face is my hands so he had to look directly in my eyes. "It's been 200 years, why now?" I ask. "You're in danger." He warned, that message! I released my hands from Max's head and my eyes widened. "His name is Pitch Black and he wants your life, he doesn't like the sound of you becoming a guardian!" Max cried, tears began to fall from both our eyes. Pitch Black? Pitch Black... Doesn't ring a bell at all! "You have to leave the North Pole" Max finally said, it gave me the feeling this would end soon. "What? I can't!" I refused, "Because of Jack?" Max cried. "That's one of the other reasons Pitch is after you! You HAVE to go Em! Please" he pleaded. Max was dead. And here he was giving me a warning?! "Max..." I started to argue once again but Max interrupted, "Please Em. For me. And Kyle" Max said, that made my whole body stiffen entirely.

Max opened my hand and placed a bow and arrow set. "My bow!" I gasped, "Kyle told me to give it to you. He carved yours and his name on it" Max said showing my the carvings on the beautiful rich wood. "How far away is Pitch?" I asked reconsidering Max's warning. "Three days away, and he's got company" Max said. "Now I must go. I don't have long now" Max said giving me a long warm hug, "No! You can't leave me Max! Please!" I started to cry but his emerald green eyes pleaded me not to. "Be strong. Do it for your village and us" he said and gave me a photograph of my family,

Max altogether with me on Youth behind them. Kyle was sitting on Youth with me. We were looking into each others eyes day dreamily. "Promise me you'll stay safe?" Max said finally. I looked at him then my bow then to the picture then back to Max. I nodded tearily, "I promise." I said. "Ok, that question." Max smirked lastly. "Kyle?" I laughed. He nodded, "he wanted you to go out with him and be his date for the Winter festival" Max said. I gasped and hugged Max tightly. "Tell Kyle I would have said yes any day and I still would" I put my hand on Max's shoulder. Suddenly black sand came around us. "Em wake up now!" Max screamed desperately, "I must go! Pitch is on his way! Go NOW!" He shouted and we started to part. "Max! Max!" I screamed as I saw his body consumed by black sand but destroyed by a bright light. "Max! Max! Max!" I continued to scream.

"Em! Wake up!" I heard Norths voice, my eyes shot open and I gasped for air desperately and I grabbed at my stomach. A tear rolled down my cheek and I got up. "What happened?" I asked remembering what had happened. I had seen Max! "Jack came to find you, but when he saw you crying and screaming out Max's name, he came and got me and Bunnymund" North said. "Jack was hell worried" Bunnymund said. "Did you see Max?" North asked. "More than that." I shook. "What?" Bunny asked, his eyes turning dark with worry. "He told me he was sent to warn me." I replied, my voice as thin as ice. "Warn you about what?" North said placing a hand on his sword by his hip. "He told me to get away from the North Pole. Because..." I said and paused to take a deep needed breath. "Because?" Bunny said. "Pitch Black" I replied and almost toppled over that Bunnymund had to catch me again for that day. "Pitch!" North growled. "He's out to get me, that's what Max said. Then we talked about Kyle, then he vanishes back to his own world" I finished explaining. "Bunnymund. Get the others, we need Man in Moon" North said and we rushed out of my room. "Thank you Max" I whispered. I love Max and I still and always will love Kyle
