Blade (the 5th wave/ Ben parish) (Under rewrite)

Chapter 1

Angelina was standing with her friends watching over her younger sister Cassie at a school party that happened to be thrown because some kids parents were outta town. She was staying close to her now intoxicated best friend Maddi because just moments ago she called her brother to come get his sister before anything else happens. Angelina scanned her eyes around the party smiling at the student from her school having fun and enjoying the music when she came across someone she's had a crush on for a while now Ben Parish. It's not unknown that Ben is the handsome boy of the school and a lot of girls try to get his attention but he didn't want to be noticed by just any girl, he wanted Angelina to understand how he felt about her as they both knew each other well from Angelina babysitting his little sister.

Angelina was about to wave to Ben when out of the corner of her eye she noticed Maddi about to trip over nothing, so she rush to her side grabbing you to stabilize Maddi back onto her feet. As if on cue Angelinas phone buzzed in her pocket and as she suspected it was Maddi's brother Alex saying he had arrived and was outside

"Come on your brother is out side waiting" I laughed as I walked her out to the front of the house where I found Alex was there waiting with his car.
"Come on Maddi, Alex is here" I say once more as she was trying to pull me back towards the party but not successful in doing so.
"No me want to party" Maddi said slurring her words.
As we got closer to Alex helps me by grabbing Maddi by her free arm and puts her in the car.
"Thanks Angelina, I get her home" Alex said as he was getting into the car.
"I love you Angel" Maddi shouted from inside the car.
I laugh at her state.
"Love you too Mads" I replied waving at her.
Alex drove off and with a sigh I went back to my car that was parked in the drive. A little tired from dragging Maddi drunken state I decided to lean against my car and waited for Cassie to start making her way to be as curfew was nearly upon us.
"Hey" I hear a familiar voice say towards me so I look up from the ground see Ben Parish standing by me.
"Hey" I say smiling.
"Nice car" he stated as I watched his eyes scan the body of the car.
"I should say Thanks to your mum, I saved up for this car since I could remember" I said looking at my red Chevrolet Camaro SS. (Search it, it's a nice car) he looked back at me and laughed knowing what I was taking about.
"So what have you been up to lately Angelina"
I looked at him.
"Ben you know you can call me Angel, but nothing much just being me, how about you" I questioned as I watched him get closer to me by leaning on my car.
"I have loved saying your full name it's beautiful Angelina"
I couldn't help but blush at the way he said my name that second time.
"I have just been focusing on school and football" He said as he pulled out his phone.
I noticed he had a pink case and I couldn't help but giggle.
"Nice case" I joked.
"What's wrong with pink" he stated with an hurt tone.
" nothing I was just" I started to stutter but he cut me off by laughing.
"I'm kidding this is my sisters phone when I dropped her off to her sleep over she grabbed mine by mistake" he reassured me so I laughed with him.
"Mine is way better, it's Spider-Man " he said confidently.
"Wow stick to your sisters " I joked and he laughed.
"How is she anyway, I miss baby sitting her" I said.
"Good, she loved having you around, but I am home more now that's why mum hasn't called" he said but before I could answer his phone rang.
"This is her" he got up and walked off.
I watched him walk away and I saw Cassie walking towards me.
"Hey sis ready" I asked smiling at her.
"Yea I'm ready" Cassie smiled and headed to the passenger side door.
We got into the car and heading home for the night.

On the ride home We talked about the most randomised thing. Cassie and I were very close and that is what I loved about us was that bond between us. We went inside and I started walking to our room when I came across our little brother Sam's room. I noticed he was still awake so I walked in and covered him in his blanket. I heard Cassie came in behind me and he looked up at us.
"Can you guys sing to me" he asked.
I looked at Cassie with a smile.
"Her song or mine" Cassie asked as her and I looked at him.
"Angels" he stated and I smiled.
I played with his hair a bit as I heard Cassie leave the room.
"OK close your eyes"
He closed his eyes as I softly sang a melody I knew all so well,

He fell asleep so fast I slowly backed out the room leaving the door open slightly. I walked into the shared room I had with Cassie and got ready for bed.
As we were about to head to bed Cassie looked at me and I knew she was about to ask about Ben.
"I saw you talking to Ben Parish" she said in awe.
"Oh shut up we just talked about my car and his phone case" I stated throwing a pillow over at her as she laughed I heard my phone beep.
"His phone case" Cassie said with a confused look I rolled my eyes and looked down at my phone reading the text.
'Hey it's Ben Parish, I stole your number off my sisters phone since you didn't give it to me lol'
I smiled.
"ANGEL" Cassie whisper shouted.
I look up at her playfully glaring at her.
"He had his sisters phone and so I commented on the pink phone case" I stated and I heard her laughed.
I decided to text Ben back ignoring my sister.
'Hey, you didn't ask for it so I never gave it to you haha 😝 what's up'
She awed and I looked at her weirdly not knowing she understood what I was doing on my phone.
"What" I asked.
"Your texting him aren't you" she said looking at me with an look I knew all to well, she was planning something.
"Yes, now go away" I joke pulling my blanket over my head laughing.
"I'm hurt" she said laughing.
"Very funny, but don't care" I in a joking tone and I could basically see her rolling her eyes.
"Don't stay up all night school tomorrow" she stated as I heard her turn off her light.
"Night Cass" I said.
"Night Angel"
I looked at the text from Ben.
'Just bored at this party, why did you have to leave😢'
I smiled.
'Oh suck it up pretty boy hang with your friends😜'
I giggled, then I just released I called him pretty.
Damn.
My phone vibrated once again and
I looked at the text.
' my friends are flirting with girls and I am all alone 😢 and did you just call me pretty'
I giggle at his reply and then decided to tease him.
' aww poor you' 
I have always had a crush on Ben since I could remember and I had a feeling this year will change for the good. I looked at my phone and saw that Ben had already replied.
'You never answered my question'
'Yes I called you pretty get over it, anyway enjoy being A loner I am going to bed night Ben'
I put my phone on its charger and wait for his reply which I knew was coming.
'Night Angel, sweet dreams'
I smiled at his last text, I put my phone on my bedside table. I rested my head on my pillow looking up at the roof, after some time of thinking about him I drifted off to sleep.
Little did I know that was the last normal day of my life.

THE MOVIE IS SO AWESOME I LOVE IT I HAVE WATCHED IT 2 TIMES IN ONE WEEK. PLUS I LOVE NICK ROBINSON.
