Hello! Heres the next chapter. I just wanted to say that if you haven't checked out ByWolfstar or Wolf-Marks you really should! They have some great books!

Jack slammed his sword into the ground, sending out a shock wave out that made the ground ripple. Windows shattered then all was silent. The soldiers stopped and looked around.

"Nothing happened! Keep going!" One of them yelled out. They kept charging but just before they got to Jack something spectacular happened. Parts of the ground fell away and soldiers made of ice began leaping out of them. They attacked the underworld army causing chaos among their ranks. It got worse when Marco and Cassandra started firing at them from the sides. Jacks eyes were glowing. He laughed and strode into the soldiers ranks. His sword swung left and right, striking down many soldiers. The last emotion they would feel was fear. Fear of yet another Frost. Jack kept taking them out until one of the larger ones pulled out Stars wand. It was black as night. His armour melted off his body, revealing Ludo.

"Time for round two Jack." Ludo said before blasting him backwards. The soldiers saw this moment of weakness for Jack and it gave them new strength. They let out a war cry and fought back against the ice men with renewed strength.

"Good to see you too Ludo." Jack said.

"Where's your wand boy?"

"With a friend. Now why do you have Stars wand?"

"Tom needed insurance that you would be dead."

"And he sent you?" Jack started laughing. "That's real funny. Tom always was a bit of a jokester." Ludo growled and fired at Jack again. To his surprise Jack just brushed the spell off. "Did I ever tell you that I don't joke?" Jack charged at Ludo so fast that he barely had time to turn the wand into a sword. They swords clashed, Jack attacking relentlessly while Ludo just managed to defend himself.

"You think you can come here and try and hurt my friends Ludo?" Jack said with a fire in his eyes. "YOU THINK YOU CAN TRY AND HURT ME!?!?!? DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HURT THIS PLANET!?!?!? NOBODY DESTROYS MY FRIENDS OR THE EARTH AS LONG AS I LIVE!!!" Jack landed a blow on Ludo's arm then struck again while he was distracted. He chopped of his left arm at the elbow. Ludo looked at the wound in disbelief. Seeing this was his last stand he released a spell so explosive it sent Jack flying for a few miles. His flight was cut short when he slammed into the side of an apartment complex. When he looked around he realised he was in an apartment. He got up and groaned. "Ow." He walked to the hole in the wall and looked around. Up in the sky was another ship. The back of it opened up and thirty of the underworlds elite soldiers jumped out. They were trained from as young as possible to be bigger, faster, stronger and more skilled than all of the other soldiers. Jack could easily take on a few but thirty of them would be a challenge. He jumped down to the ground, catching their attention. He strode out into the street.

"Hello there, are you here to kill me as well?" the soldiers charged at him. Jack sliced his sword across the air sending a blast of air at them. It dissipated when it hit their armour. "Magic proof armour. Smart." They got to him and he began defending. They made a circle around him that began to shrink making him turn and twist to stop the attacks from all sides. His sword sliced one of the soldier's legs in half but before he could finish the job the wounded man was pulled back and another stepped forwards to take his place. Jack could tell it was a losing fight. He was taking on six guys at once from all sides and they had back up if they got tired or injured. He couldn't even cast spells, they took concentration and he couldn't take his mind off of any of his opponents for even a second. It was a silent fight, not a word was spoken. All that was heard was the sound of sword on sword or a cry of a wounded man. This battle went on for over five minutes before it was interrupted by a scream. It distracted the soldiers just long enough for Jack to jump out of the circle, escaping just before six swords invaded the space he had occupied just moments ago. From the top of the building he saw the source of the scream. A girl who looked to be in her teenage years was lying on the ground next to the still body of a boy her age. Why she was still there after the evacuation was a mystery to Jack but his attention was on the soldier standing over them with his sword raised. A second later his head was no longer attached to his body and the girl was looking at Jack with tears in her eyes.

"Please help him. It was just a stupid dare and." Jack silenced her.

"Stop it. We need to go, can you run?" she nodded. "Good. You need to follow me as fast as you can." He picked up the unconscious boy, taking note of the hole in his stomach.

"What are they doing?" the girl asked. Jack turned to see the soldiers were shrinking and becoming longer.

"Run! They're turning into wolves!" the girl got up and the pair began sprinting the other way. "We have to get to the edge of the quarantine zone! You'll be safe there!"

"What about Sam? He's got a gaping hole in his chest!"

"I'm healing it as we speak!" She gave Jack a funny look. "Don't ask!" they heard a howl from behind them. "Do not turn around! You don't need to see what you know is there!" she turned anyways. Just like Jack said she saw what she knew was there, a pack of wolves charging them down.

"We can't out run them! They're too fast!"

"Good point." He turned and made a huge wall of ice that blocked the entire street. Then he chanted a spell which made a horse appear out of nowhere.

"A horse? Why didn't you make a car or something?"

"This horse is pretty fast and I don't have a lot of knowledge on cars. Get on." Jack put Sam up on the front of the horse then got up and steadied Sam in front of him. The girl grabbed his outstretched arm and pulled herself up, wrapping her arms around his waist. The horse bolted off just as the wolves started coming out of the alleys. Like Jack said the horse was fast. It was flying down the street, the wolves were surprised for a second but regained their senses and easily matched the speed of their prey. Jack kept turning down different streets to try shake the wolves but it was no use. They always found their way back to them. After a few minutes of this they came out onto a street that led right to the edge of the evacuated area. The military and the police had set up a block on all the streets to keep back curious civilians. Jack stopped the horse and got off.

"You go, I'll stop the wolves."

"I'm not leaving you here. You could die."

"Just go. I got this." She gave him a sceptical look then shuffled forwards on the horse and steadied herself. Jack slapped its rump and it took off. A howl came from the alley and the wolves ran out. When they saw Jack standing there they stopped. Their bodies began to contort again and soon the men were standing there.

"You've led us on quite the chase Jack. But you know how this ends. You may be stronger than us as individuals but not as a group. You're out of time and out of luck." One of them said.

"I promised myself I'd never do this but it looks like I'll have to. Do any of you know my ancestor Audamar? The most feared man in history?" the mention of his name made the men uneasy but they kept their composure.

"Yes we do. We know that he is now a pile of bones somewhere in the multiverse."

"Well you are about to meet him." Jack focused on that one name. Calling him out of the darkness and into his mind. Audamar. Want to have some fun?

Yes.

Jack suddenly doubled over in pain. The soldiers laughed at him.

"Oh no!" One said mockingly. "The little baby's got a tummy ache!" Jack looked up again.

"Little baby? I think not." He said. "It's been too long since my last fight, this will be fun." His voice was very deep and clearly not his own. An aura of confidence surrounded him.

"What are you talking about? You just fought us a few minutes ago."

"That was Jack." His eyes began to turn purple. "I'm Audamar."
