- Luna's Pov -
I glanced around the tent I was in. Injured men fresh from the fight with the villagers were lying on cots moaning from their wounds. A lot had happened in the last few hours. We had walked through the forest for a long time until we came to a semi large tree that went up pretty far. Then the huge beefy guy - who I still did not like and probably wouldn't like for a very long time - stopped and hit on a darker piece of the tree trunk until it fell in. He backed up and stepped aside for the other men and women accompying us walked into the trunk and disappeared. When it was my turn I stepped forward into the tree and seen a tall ladder stretching farther then I could see. Oh boy, Rapunzel was going to have a hard time I thought as I climbed. My arms were starting to get tired and just as I was contemplating letting go of the ladder, I reached a plat form. And I was shocked when I stood up onto the platform. There was a huge wooden balcony like platform going from one tree to the next with tents set up and people walking around. It was like a village in the trees. I was so enthralled by everything. Brant came up behind me from the ladder and grinned at my shocked face. "Pretty awesome huh?" he asked. I nodded and spoke in a stunned voice, "It's so cool...." He grinned even bigger and started to speak but was cut off by a girl around my age but much shorter with auburn colored hair. She asked, "Are you Luna?" I nodded, "Why?" She replied, "Well I'm guessing the other men are fighting the villagers over you and Raplunzel correct?" I nodded again - it seemed all I was going to be doing was nodding. She spoke again and grabbed my wrist tugging me off in the direction of a big tent. She spoke hurriedly, "Ok, then we are going to have to start preparing for the injured, you get to help." I nodded again and finally came up with something to say, "Whats your name?" She rushed past several people over to a corner with supplies like blankets, and bandages. "My names Fay." I watched as she grabbed a blanket and rushed over to a cot and laid it down. I started grabbing pillows and putting them down on the cots after she went past it with a blanket.
After awhile I scene an older man with dark gray hair race over and open up a door on the floor. I walked over curiously and seen the men that stayed to fight the villagers underneath us. I cautiously backed up - I did not want to fall all the way down there. The man walked back over with a rope and a wooden bed with like a belt around it tying it to the rope. He dropped it down and handed his end of the rope to several other guys that were pretty much all muscle. He hollered down, "Ok boys!" Fay glanced over and whispered, "Most of these guys are buttheads but we still have to tell them. You get to take care of them and I'll get the supplies. Blood creeps me out." My eyes widened, "I never have taken care of anything though!" She shrugged, "You'll do better then I will." I sighed, I hope if a patient dies I wont be sent back to Gothel. I went back to watching the scene unfolding in front of me. The men hauled up another guy in the bed/pulley thing. The older guy took out the injured one and pulled him over to a cot and laid him down on it. I guessed it was my turn. I walked over with a rag in hand. Fay ran over with a bowl of water as soon as I sat down next to him. The guy had jet black hair and equally as dark eyes. His wound was a dagger that went into his arm. Aww man I had to help him? I meantally thought, oh shoot he's gonna die. I put the rag down and held his arm with one hand and gripped the daggers handle with the other. "Now this will hurt worse then being stabbed." The guys eyes shot open and his eyebrows went straight up he muttered, "Shoot..." I pulled the dagger out as he let out an ear peircing scream. I put it down and grabbed the rag and dabbed it in the water wiping over the wound which was basically over flowing with blood. I turned to ask Fay for some more rags and a bandage, but she looked ready to faint. I waved my hand in front of her face, "Are you ok? I need bandages and rags." She nodded and quickly raced over and brought them back in ten seconds flat. I grabbed the rags and folded them then put them over the wound. I held them in place as I wrapped the bandages firmly around the wound.
Thats the way the rest of the hours went leading up to now. I sighed heavily. I glanced down at my dress which was covered in blood. I shook my head and went to look for Rapunzel, Brant and my new friend Fay (we got seperated in the chaos). I found them all over by a tent which smelled like food. Rapunzel started to faint when she took in my appearance but the guy that had caught her earlier proped her back up. I shook my head wearily and murmured, "It's not my blood." Brant nodded, "Go get cleaned up and then meet us back here to eat." I nodded and walked away.
