Niall's P.O.V.:
When me and Zayn stepped in my house I heard my mom shouting from the kitchen. "Niall! I got you food! Now come here!"
Well, wasn't that just lovely, I thouht sarcasically.

I looked at Zayn, who was skeptically looking at me. "My family is ... special." I tried explaing for him. He nodded his head.
I hoped he wouldn't be afraid of my mom. She was actually really nice. She just tries to be funny sometimes, failing miserably.

We put our shoes and jackets aside and went to the kitchen, only to be greeted by the smell of pancakes.
"Hey mom, this is Zayn. Zayn, my mom." I introduced both of them.

My mom shut the stove off and shook Zayn hand. "Nice to meet you Zayn. Niall isn't this the Zayn you told me once or twice about?" She asked sweetly. "I didn't tell you about Zayn." I said trying to keep a blank face.

"Sure he is. Niall didn't tell me you were so handsome." Gushed mom, directed towards Zayn. Oh god, please kill me, now.
"You can call me Maura."

Zayn looked a bit perplex. "Uh... lovely to meet you too, Maura. You're very beautiful." My mom's cheeks were flushed. "Oh look Niall, a true gentleman. Why don't you try to be nice sometimes?"
Are you serious?

"I am nice!" I defended myself, "And can me and Zayn now finally get our food I'm hungry. You're hungry too right?" I asked Zayn.
He noddeed his head. "Sure."

"Okay here you go sweeties." Mom handed us both a plate with 3 pancakes on each. "I'll be in the livingroom, if you need me." She excused herself and left.

Me and Zayn sat down on the table beside each other.
"Your mom's ..." - "Annoying? Jumpy? Weird? Yeah I know that already." I cut him off. "Well, I wanted to say nice, charming and sweet."
I looked weirdely at him. "Why does everyone keep saying that?" I muttered. Sure she was nice, but still kind of weird though.
"Because it's true." He said smiling at me.

We both ate our pancakes. I finished when he only ate two of his'. Do I really eat that fast?
"So did you really tell your mom about me?" He asked suddenly. I blushed. Why did she have to mention that. And why couldn't he just forget it?

"No I didn't. She just likes embarassing me." I grumbled. "I feel honoured that you told your parents about me. And that you are embarassed by the fact that you did." He smirked smugly at me.

I opened my mouth in shock. "I don't feel embarassed by the fact that I told my parents about you!" I protested and crossed my arms before my chest.

"So you admit that you told them about me." His grin only grew wider. My eyes widened as I realised, that I unfortunately did admit it to him, in a way.

"I-I... That's not fair!" Damn him. I looked offended at my empty plate. "Aw come on. I told my parents about you too. No need to be embarassed." He tried to soothe me.

"I am not embarassed. I'm offended, okay?" I exclaimed. "Wait. You told your parents about me?" I asked cofused. He casually shrugged his shoulders. "Why?" - "Why not?" He questioned back.
I remained silent.

"Now do you still wanna finish the project, or not?" I shot up. "Right okay. Just follow me to my room." Did I really just say that? Ugh. I hate myself.
We put our now emtpy plates in the sink and I showed him upstairs to my room.
