I am Raye Arlon Logger, but almost everyone discern me as Arlon, a young lad who has a humble heart that delves great adventures. I have an obsession in the arcane arts, anticipating to emerge as a powerful sorcerer who can manipulate the storm elements one day.

Magic abides in this world. However, I do not have sufficient funds to incur tuition in the College of Ethaendra. Spells are arduous to learn by self, and are only inculcated by the best wizards on the college. The only spell I know is to conjure a floating ball of light that practically discharges nothing besides illuminating an area, for a few minutes. This is peerless for reconnaissance on caliginous areas like caverns.

I settle in this city of Youngwood, a peaceful place, full of normal people, living their simple existences; busy streets, merchants bartering, chefs cooking, alchemists brewing, warriors sparring, almost anything simple people do. But I don't commit to those habits for a living. I depart from the city consistently, seeking for dewy adventures.

However, I never embarked with an amiable life. When I was a child, I lost my loved ones in a holocaust at sea. During the voyage, a thunder storm verged upon the calm waters. I was the only one meager enough to fit in a crate. My parents plunked me inside, along with a supply of food and clean water, in hopes of letting a survivor be the last blood line of the family. Ocean waves were turbulent, thunderbolts were audible, and devastating lightning strikes shot down, all of this catastrophe eventually devoured the ship down to sleep with the fishes.

My crate was thrown into the ocean, and I wasn't able to recognize what happened. All I could assume is the fact that my family exists in a better place now. It was the most depressing point of my life. This crisis caused by a storm gave me a massive mental damage, and could have been the reason of my obsession in storm magic.

Fortunately, it didn't take me a long occasion to waft around the ocean. The waves washed my crate toward the shore alongside Wartha after a couple of hours, and a group of kind people found me. They brought me to the Youngwood orphanage. Genuinely nice care was given to me.

The orphanage was my household, until I aged old enough and assured that I can live independently and inaugurate my adventures. I've discovered and auctioned countless artifacts that I was able to amass gold to barter for resources and bargain my own residence within the city.

I flourish a stimulating life, always packed with action. Along my journeys, I occasionally encounter and dispatch hostile brutes. Obligation to my bow, sword and leather armor, these equipment are crucial in my adventures.

The tyrannic Goblin overlord, Viktor, has imperiled an assault against Ethaendra. The whole military is assembling ramparts all over the cities. Scouts have been sent to meander across the land. The College of Ethaendra is admitting students who presume to join the war and develops them to become master wizards, for free.

What shall be my action? I will not sanction this war as a handicap to my adventures. I am not anxious of the jeopardy brought by this incoming chaos. I shall continue to wander the vast lands of Ethaendra, and unfold more wonders, be it dangerous or not.

My heart and life is built for adventure, and no one shall hinder me.
