Chapter 10BA:
Fall of Viktor

Warthan Goblin Camp
Wartha City
Arlon
Night Time

I am driven furious by this senseless war. For sure my lambkin is slain by these goblins, and there is no way I can claim back her life. Insanity slowly infests my calm mind, gradually transforming me into an unstoppable monster.

My helpless emotion conjured a raging thunderstorm all over Ethaendra, covering the full moon with murky clouds.

"Grant me my final wish," I prayed to the Lightning Rod. "Help me feed my revenge."

"Destined one," it replied. "You are breaking the first decree, yet I sense the agony within thee. Be it what you want, for revenge is the only method to sate thy hunger for justice. Go forth, and avenge that lass you have always loved."

I lurked in the camp for a while, waiting for a victim to interrogate. I paralyzed a lone goblin and questioned him.

"Where does your leader reside?" I angrily asked, then punched the poor goblin in the face.

"Won't tell ye!" replied the goblin. "Yer kingdom ain't match fo---"

I slammed the rod into his face, and it began sparking. I aimed it close to his head.

"Location of Viktor," I threatened. "NOW, before I am forced to take it out of your squishy brain."

"O'right me lad!" cried the goblin. "V-viktor..... H-he...."

I struck a lightning bolt that nearly hit his head, scorching the ground.

"Talk straight," I demanded.

"AYE," cried the goblin in despair. "Our lord Viktor is currently restin' at they Sov'reign Tower! Tis all I know! PLEASE."

"Worthless life," I said.

I forcefully smashed my scepter into his face, deforming his looks, leaving the goblin to suffer until he gradually bleeds out.

I spawned a storm cloud, and set my way to Anthrax, the capital of the Goblin Kingdom.

Viktor, your agony awaits.

The Goblin Kingdom
Dusk

This is a populated and authoritative nation, claiming their technology supreme among the whole world. Every work of architecture or engineering is far better than any civilization can produce.

The goblins possess physical attributes similar to humans. The only differences are their looks and diets. Goblins usually have pointy noses and ears, along with unusually green skin tone, and commonly have a diet of bugs and strange plants, but can eat human food too.

I believe they are naturally selfish, and have hostility towards any other race. They are pleased with what riches and capabilities they have, until Viktor hungered for Ethaendran magic.

The kingdom is adjacent to other empires like the orcs and elves, and together settle on the inhuman continent of Mystika.
