Epilogue BB:
TriumphEthaendra claims an overall triumph against the Goblin Kingdom, as such devastation forced them to surrender. Losing their capital city eradicated more than half of their riches, descending the whole kingdom to poverty.
To mourn and honor the perished heroes who died at the Battle of Wartha, Ethaendra settled a ceremony in the Port of Wartha. Citizens are throwing flowers at the sea as a sign of mourning.
Days after the mass funeral, the kingdom threw a nationwide celebration for the victory in the war. A delightful feast was held at Arvendana City, granting joy to those who came and participated.
The Iron Centurion wasn't just left there, Ethaendrans analyzed the machine gun and produced their own rapid fire weapons. Muskets and pistols started becoming obsolete, as technology in firearms advanced. Combined with sorcery, Ethaendra could form marksmen deadlier than ever.

Wartha City
Morning
A week later...Because I am the archmage and considering my heroic acts, I have been given the opportunity to settle at Wartha City, a place far more influential than Youngwood, yet I declined...
"But who shall become the archmage?" asked the soldiers.
"I have to find my lambkin first," I replied. "I cannot take this responsibility until I finish this matter I have to attend to. Then, I can become the archmage."
I stared into the horizon of the sea, and sighted a small boat. It seemingly looks like one from the Goblin Kingdom. The naval guards stood up and aimed their weapons.
"Halt," I ordered. "Let them ashore."
My eyes did not deceive me. It was Abigail! The strange thing is that she is still in perfect condition. As soon as she disembarked at the goblin boat, I ran to and embraced her. It feels good to have affection with the lass I've missed so much.
"What have you been through?" I asked. "Where have you gone? Why are you-"
"Shush now," she replied. "I have survived everything I've been through. This all started during the Battle of Wartha a couple of weeks ago, where you didn't care to aid the battle at all, so I had to do something to assist them from long range.
I have seen my father, the archmage, die in the battlefield, while I aimed through my sniper rifle. I have felt the dread of witnessing some Ethaendran Warships sink down to sleep with the fishes. I have witnessed gruesome stuff."
"What's with the blood on the rock you lied beside?" I asked. "When I came back too late, all that remained there was your bloody gear."
"That was not my gear," she replied. "How can you assume if my rifle wasn't there? I've slain a goblin assassin who nearly ended my life. Now let me continue my story...
If you thought I was captured, you were wrong. I decided to sneak up to a goblin ship myself, as I expected them to return to the Goblin Kingdom.
For days the ship sailed, while I hid within the crates. It took me a lot of patience, yet the results were pretty worth it. Upon arrival docking at Anthrax Harbor, I prowled through the buildings, and climbed up the lighthouse.
Such a majestic view. The Goblin Kingdom, I can say, is a stunning place to be in. I can also disapprove your belief that goblins do not accept humans, for I, myself, safely roamed the wonders of the kingdom without encountering any trouble. I did not even have to use my sniper rifle!
I have learned their great technology, and I now realize why they don't simply share it without any fair trade. Such mechanical skills succeed far more than the human capabilities. They are so kind that I have augmented my own sniper rifle with a better scope! The goblins are not bad creatures after all, they only have a tyrannic sovereign that leads them to the wrong path.
For days I've coped around the goblins, until you, together with the Ethaendran army, retaliated with a terrorizing act. From the beginning that storm cloud was conjured, I knew it was you, and I had no choice but to tolerate that anguish you're suffering. I ran to a very far location, without warning any goblin the outcome of the storm cloud.
I fled very far, and time was enough. I expected the blast to be very devastating, and stood behind safety in a wall of rocks in the Goblin Desert. I watched the huge thunderbolt strike down from the sky, generating a deafening shockwave.
Days later, I knew it was my time to return to Ethaendra, assuming the goblins surrendered due to the thunderbolt that wiped out life on their capital city. I journeyed to the coastal city of Xenia, and purchased a boat by trading all of my remaining sniper bullets.
I sailed for hours, and finally arrived at my destination, the Port of Wartha."
"That doesn't matter Abigail," I said, as I stared directly into her beautiful eyes.
I tightly embraced her to give a romantic kiss.
This concludes my story of adventure and strife. So far, I love how this war ended in victory, despite the loss of many heroes.
I am Archmage Raye Arlon Logger, First Descendant of the Storm Sorcerer, and for as long as I breathe the air of this world, I shall persist to fulfill my role as the highest military rank to lead my men and maintain peace throughout Ethaendra, despite the risk.
I shall continue to live and serve, as more perils await considering what I have been through, for true heroes...
...spring from humble beginnings.
