All Out War

"Teach those scums a lesson," I said. "Siege them in an all-out war, your highness."

"How about this riot?" asked King Harry. "What are we going to do about them? It will take the army a week to raid the Goblin Kingdom before our return."

"Leave them for now," I suggested. "These goblins are a far, stronger threat than our people going insane. Let us prioritize the war. Remember, you have the descendant storm mage on your side. We can wipe out the most influential cities of the goblin kingdom!"

"We agree with Sir Arlon," said Councillor Earl.

"Aye then," said King Harry. "Gather all of our troops in the Port of Wartha and show those goblins dominance. Remaining soldiers will take care of the anarchy."

Morning Time
A day later...

The forces of Ethaendra have boarded the naval vessels. Hundreds of warships and thousands of soldiers are awaiting a signal to set sail to the Goblin Kingdom.

"Your tactics Arlon?" asked Archmage Toval. "I shall let ya command mine men this time, for tis all your plan."

"Alright sir," I said.

I hovered on a storm cloud and talked to the army with a loud voice.

"My brothers," I commanded. "Know the one and only reason we all are gathered here. The purpose of our attack is pure vengeance for our fallen comrades and warships, and the insanity driven to our citizens by this war.

We shall set sail to the Goblin Kingdom, and annihilate their two major cities. First target is Anthrax Harbor, where we shall call upon a destructive salvo, demolishing a huge part of the city. Upon taking out the naval defenses, we shall disembark on our ships and attack the remaining goblins.

Afterwards, we shall settle a camp to have a short rest, then we head towards Xernus City, the center of technological production. Using my powers combined with our forces, this raid is guaranteed to force the goblins to fully surrender, finally letting Ethaendra claim triumph in this war.

All clear?"

"OOH HA!" cried the soldiers.

"Sweet and successful tactics lad," said Archmage Toval. "Yet, tis dangerous. Ya guarantee this?"

"Will be worth it sir," I said. "We have already taken out almost the whole goblin army in the Battle of Wartha. I assure they have puny forces left."

"Alrighty ma boy," he agreed. "Set sail."

Quarter to Midnight
Eighteen hours later...

The Ethaendran fleet approached the Anthrax Harbor. Machine gun towers hailed down bullets, although dealing very little damage. I cast multiple thunderbolts from the sky to bring down these towers.

Our warships began charging the spark mortars, and soon projected dozens of magically enchanted explosives to the sky, raining down destruction to the goblin port.
