At night on the forest...

"Could you relinquish your grip, because it's starting to be uncomfortable." Luca whines.

"Better not. I don't want you to do any stupid tricks."

"I wouldn't do any stupid tricks."

"You would. For example, when you sicced the whole village on us or just, when I defeated you, you didn't accept that and still wanted to attack me although the fight was over. And that from behind, without me noticing it."

"I understand, that you don't trust me."

"Oh no, that's all we needed!" Ned gets excited.

"What's wrong?" Rafael wants to know.

"There are some undeads crossing our way."

"It's not a big problem."

"I think it is. You can't fight, because you must take care of Luca."

"Fight them on your own."

"I don't know. Okay I will do that." Ned slowly goes forward and does his best. He kills all of the undeads, who are preventing him and Rafael to go on. He does it for a long time. After he finished Ned takes a little break. He leans himself on a tree.

"My god. That's really exhausting."

"You are not the fittest." Luca determines.

"Actually I am fit. I am only a bit lazy today."

They rest. Rafael doesn't watch out for a moment, then Luca quickly frees himself and runs away.

"Shit, we have to catch him, come on Ned!"

Rafael and Ned run after Luca.

"He may not reach the village before us! If he do so, He could have the chance to give his people the order to kill Laura and Rose." Rafael clarifies.

"I know!"

Luca disappears into the darkness.

"Where did he go?!" Ned questions.

"Maybe therefore! But we only need to use the way to the village!"

They keep on running until they see Luca laying on the ground. He fell down while he ran away from Ned and Rafael. He is surrounded by some undeads, who are approaching him.

"Please help me, I can't get up, I've hurted myself!" Luca is frightened. He whimpers.

"That's your own fault!" Rafael comes along and kills the undeads, who are surrounding Luca. Then he helps him to get up and takes him as hostage again.

"Now I sure know, that you won't run away."

"It was worth a try."

"But I'm serious, no tricks anymore! I hope for you, that you aren't faking your pain. At next time I won't stay calm, did you hear me?!"

"Okay!"

"Ned!"

"Yes?"

"If we reach the village, we should look for the village master. Maybe he doesn't know about Laura and Rose as prisoners."

"He doesn't know?"

"No, he doesn't know." Luca answers Neds question.

"Why he doesn't know?"

"Because our village master is a figurehead. Actually I am the one who gives orders and structures everything. He nearly has nothing to say. He often doesn't know, what happens in his village, because he never leaves his fortress. Okay I must admit, that some of our informants sometimes tell him, what happens. But they don't tell him everything. He lives there and is protected by many guards. He lives cut off from the outside world, this unsuspecting..."
