Chapter 26

The boy and the girl are astonished.

"What are you four doing here?" The boy starts asking, while he holds his flashlight.

"Nothing. How I can see you aren't long time here." Rafael answers.

"Nothing, are you serious and what do you mean by saying we aren't long time here?"

"What do you think? You have got a properly working flashlight from which the batteries aren't empty yet and you aren't hungry. Otherwise you would lay in any corner hold your belly and whine."

"Stop provocating me and see, that you dissapear from here!" The boy gets more angry.

"You have no reason to get that angry."

"I have a reason, after all you are here!"

"Hey, we are only looking for a bolt-hole."

"Go and look somewhere else for a bolt-hole."

"Does that place belong to you? If yes then show me any papers or else, that would proof, that it is your place."

The boy silences. Then he goes up to Rafael. His face is close to Rafael face.

"I won't say it again, dissapear from here, now!"

"Force me!" Rafael provocates him.

"Hey, stop arguing!" The girl finally pipes up.

"No, Tara. It's our hideout. We were here at first. Thus they four have to get away from here."

"Actually you are right, but we can arrange."

"No, never. Why do you want to arrange?"

"Because they look harmless."

"They can look as harmless as they want. I won't accept them to stay here."

"Come on, Mike do it for me." Tara begs. Mike starts deliberating.

"I'm doing it only for Tara, not for you guys." Mike comes to response.

"Of course." Rose answers.

"What are we going to do now?" Laura wants to know.

"We should wait." Ned suggests.

"For what?"

"Till it is day. Then we should move on."

"No, you can stay here. I can imagine that one can trust you." Tara is confident. Mike sits down. The others also do so. He puts his flashlight to the ground.

"What are you four doing here?" He starts asking.

"You sound like a record." Rose finds.

"I'm serious. I don't believe you even when he has just told us that you are doing nothing. I can't imagine, that you got here just like that without having any target."

"Imagine, but it is like that." Rafael opposes.

"You won't tell me?"

"Well spotted. You wouldn't understand that anyway."

"Give it a try."

"It doesn't matter if we tell him." Laura tries to persuade Rafael.

"Okay. What do you think about that, we are looking for the other world."

"Then you are wrong here." Mike jokes. Rafael sighs angrily. Tara beats him slightly on his shoulder.

"Sorry, I was kidding."
