The next few days were pretty normal. Because I was partnered up with Keith, I was now more focused with our class. I just hope he’s not dumb… Not that I’m calling him dumb or something. I just really preferred if he was smart but it looks like we’re not going to fail the science fair at this rate. But anyway, Keith didn’t seem like the social kind of guy towards me. I always see him talking to his friend and his girlfriend. I understand though. Whenever he saw me, he would ask about the plants that I planted.
One day, he asked if I could come over to his house so we could decorate the science board he bought. I told him that we didn’t need to rush because we had five weeks. He argued, saying, “Wouldn’t it be better if we finished the project early?”
He was right though… But I was looking forward to understanding him some more and being his friend. If we finish the project within a week or so, then we’d still be strangers. But… we’re working on plants. So we’re kind of bounded to work at least three weeks together. I hope.
When he asked if we could work over at his house that day, I guess you could say that I was flattered. I almost turned red, because I felt myself heating up. I thought about his question and wondered what would happen…?
