Author's note: Hi! I'm really unsure about this story. And I'm not really sure if you guys will like it and I'm not really sure if this story has a really good plot and all. But, it seemed really interesting to me. Well, in my head that is. And, just like you, I'm curious too. I'm just making this as I go. But, I might not finish the story due to lack of time, cannot think what'll come next for the story, and because it's starting to sound lame. Another thing: I'm doing the parts by days. Not chapters. Weird? Yeah, I know. Hope you enjoy what I have right now!
P.S. I think the story seems kind of sudden. But, that's what makes it interesting, yes? And sorry for any bad grammar, etc. :[ I write on Microsoft Word Doc or in my iPod's notes for every story I start. And yes, I'm lame for not updating my other stories lately. Sorry.
“Oh. My. Gawd. She’s asking him out!” Someone cried. I looked around quickly. I wonder which girl was it this time.
“Over there! Look!” Another one shouted and pointed. Why did everyone make a big deal out of it?
We were walking out of the cafeteria. The bell just happened to rang. Then I saw them. I saw her. I saw him. They were standing next to a water fountain in the school. She was giggling, playing with her hair and flirting. I envied her. Her name is Carrie Mink. She was brave enough to ask him out. She was prettier than me anyways. Everyone knew she liked him for a long time. You know, Keith Pierson. That’s his name. And it hurts me every time he says yes to another girl. No matter how mean, ugly, pretty, snobby, and rude they are. He’ll always say yes. But then again, they always break up with him within a week or a month. They complain how he doesn’t do anything and he’s completely careless. But I don’t care what they say. I can’t determine that yet.
Everyone pretty much expects Keith and whichever girl who asks him out to break up real soon. People even made bets on it.
All I can tell you is that I’m afraid.
I turned around and headed for class, resisting myself to cry. I hated how weak I was. I know this happens all the time. But every second, he seems farther away from my reach.
