Well, they weren't that all that bad in the beginning. We were only wimpy freshmen figuring out the heights of high school. Nobody had lifted their weapons, or taken aim at targets. And there were definitely no bullets whizzing overhead, yet. Keyword: Yet. As the curtains on freshman year were drawn, cliques, bands, and trios popped into existence. And sophomore year started off with shots fired; people we had gotten along with just fine ignored us. But that wasn't important.
