By the time Rose and I made it to Skylar's room, I had lost count of how many times I had almost tripped due to my dress. I still had no idea why Aster wanted us to dress up, but I was just happy that I got away with wearing cosplay! Inside the extra-long sleeve of my outfit, a small iPod was clutched in my shaky hand.

You're wondering what our job is, aren't you? We're in charge of tweaking the music a bit! I mean, we did include some good songs.

Well, if the Chicken Dance counts as a good song...

Anyways, we made it into her room without being noticed, and headed over to the device. We had found out that they would be streaming music through her iPod, so I had set up a whole playlist of my own. Now came the hard part, we would have to switch the music and get out of there! After all, you wouldn't want to be caught hijacking your bullies' party, would you?

'Thank goodness I found this lying around...' I thought to myself, looking at the MP3 in my sort of trembling hand. I looked down at the small music player. I had found my old iPod Shuffle lying around after our Skype call, because I would NEVER risk losing my precious iPod!

Anyways, back to the task at hand. I looked back at Rose with a hopeful glance before I quickly switched the two items. I held my breath, waiting, until the first song (not surprisingly being the Chicken Dance) began to play. Sighing, I turned to Rose, only to see a look of worry on her face. "What is it?" I asked her.

"Mel, we were supposed to wait! You were too early!" was her reply. My eyes widened as I felt a panic attack beginning to settle in.

And that's when I heard the footsteps...
