I stared out the car window listening to 5 seconds of summer watching the palm trees go by. We were in California for the summer. And when I say we I mean Me, my parents, my older brother cameron and my best friend Maddy.

I like to try crazy new things, my friends say I'm what you would call a "free spirit" I play field hockey with my best friends, Oh and I'm absolutely obsessed with taking pictures
I looked over and maddy was sound asleep, the car stopped and I saw we were at In and Out so I decided to wake up maddy.
I jumped on top of maddy screaming "wake up wake up were at In and Out!!" I started laughing and she looked really annoyed. She started laughing and said "ooo food " mom and dad got out of the car "how far away are we from our house?" I asked
"About 20 minutes mom "responded
We walked into in and out and my parents ordered while me and maddy sat down at one of the tables. "I'm so excited to spend the entire summer with my best friend" she said. "Eh" I said she hit me and we started laughing "I'm kidding I'm kidding"
Me and maddy were so alike, we go together perfectly. She loves to do crazy fun stuff, just like me, one time we ran around the mall screaming, and singing Disney songs.
Mom and dad brought the food and we ate and talked, then got in the car and blasted the radio " SHE LOOKS SO PERFECT STANDING THERE IN MY AMERICAN APPAREL UNDERWEAR"
We sang to our favorite 5sos song.
I looked out my window and saw the beach. "We're here!!" I shouted. My mom pulled into our beach house and me and maddy jumped out of the car and got our stuff out of the trunk. Me and maddy walked inside and went upstairs to unpack. Maddy's room and and my room were connected and we shared a bathroom. Took all of my clothes out of my bag and put them in my dresser. I looked out the window and saw the bright blue ocean calling my name
