Chapter 37 - Brasil

I shield my eyes from the hot sun beating down on my face as we walked through the streets of Brazil headed for the beach. It's so beautiful here. The music, the people, the food, just everything. Yep, that's right. We're currently in Brazil for a workshop with a few of Beyonce's lead dancers. The twins can only make it to one workshop out of the three, and I don't know which one they're coming to because Laurent won't tell me.

"How far is this beach?" LaMia complained and we followed behind Ashley who was supposed to be leading us.

"Just a few more blocks." She turns around quickly smiling before turning back around.

And just like she said, we finally made it to the beach and surprisingly it wasn't packed on a beautiful day as this. Once we found a spot that was somewhat secluded, I set down my blanket, sat down, and got out my snacks. I watched Amandy, Ashley, LaMia, Kimmie, Dnay, Hannah and the others run out in the water as I snacked on my Pringles and marshmallow sandwiches.

I know what you're thinking. Eww! What the fuck! But hey, don't like it til you try it. I just been feening for something sweet and salty, and this just so happened to be the perfect combo I was looking for. Don't judge me.

Then another weird food combo I've been eating was hot cheetos and a huge dill pickle together. Like I would stick a few hot cheetos inside of the pickle and eat it like that. It is the weirdest taste ever but I couldn't stop myself. Since I wasn't sure if Brazil would have all of these things, I packed hella snacks and stuffed them all in my carry-on. And also I love to dip salt and vinegar chips into some Reese's flavored ice cream. I didn't pack the ice cream though

I quickly stuffed my food into my bag just as the girls were coming from playing in the water. I didn't want them to think I was weird eating such foods as these all together. I finished chewing the food in mouth before licking my fingers clean just as Ashley sat down next to me soak and wet.

"Why you not in the water?" She asked laying down

"Not really in the mood." I shrugged "Plus I'm hungry." I added.

"Are you serious! We just ate lunch not too long ago." She said as we both laughed.

"I don't know. I've just been really hungry lately." I giggled looking out at the view.

"So how are you and Lau?" She asked

I blushed a little looking down at my tattooed pinky "Everything is great. I miss him...A lot." I quickly wiped a tear that had fell.

"That's good. Y'all are so cute together." She smiles

"You think so?" I ask trying not to blush

"Heck Yea. I seen pictures of y'all together all the time, and it just warms my heart." She says smiling holding her chest.

I laugh at her being dramatic as the others finally came out of the water.

"Laurent Nicolas Bourgeois. When are you coming to Brazil?" I asked

"No worry for that, bébé. Just know I come, okii." He assures me and I roll my eyes at him not giving me a direct answer.
