Invisible Twin *Completed*

Chapter 1

My mom had taken Cassidey -Cass- to a doctors appointment and my older brother Mathew (22) had gone with them. My other sisters, Vanna (20), was at work, and Allison (17) went to a friend's house. So, dad and I were the only ones home. I'm close to invisible in this houshold. I'm not a trouble maker like Allison, and I'm not popular like Cass, I don't have Vanna's charm that makes people want to pay attention to her, and lastly I'm not like Mathew who fights for our country. My family isnt a bad family, but i just dont have anything that makes them notice me. Unlike Allison, I don't get into trouble so i can get attention. I don't mind beind invisible. Invisible isn't the word to use, its just that I don't constantly have the attention in my house. I don't like the spotlight therefore I dont mind being on the sidelines. Anyway, it was 10:30 on a monday morning in June, and i was still asleep.

Of course my dad woke me up by screaming up the stairs. 'Christine, get dressed. We need to meet everyone at the doctor's office.'

Here is a little something about me : I hate mornings. I got dressed as quickly as I could, therefore I was wearing my default outfit : jeans that used to be light-wash but now are faded which have holes in both knees, and a band T-shirt that belongs to my friend Gabe, and my blue and black hightops. Unlike my sister Cass, I dont have brown hair or blue eyes. Instead, I have very curly blond hair that for today i pulled into a pony-tail, and I have dark green eyes. All my sisters and brother have brown hair, even my parents.

'Christine!' My dad prompted, still downstairs.

'I know, I'm coming.' I responded as I left my bedroom and headed for the stairs. I wish I would have know how much my life was about to change.
