"Hotaru...?" Mikan whined. She was running a high fever and thrashing about.

"What?" Hotaru snapped out of impatience, shutting the brunette up, "don't worry.. we called a doctor... even though their medicines will be of no help." She muttered under her breath. Although everything ticked her off at the moment, she was happy that Mikan was by her side again. Right now she was all cheery and drunk from the medicine Hotaru gave her.

"Will I ever get my memory back?"

Hotaru stopped to think about it. She couldn't even remember how she lost her memory in the first place. Who was the person responsible for her memory loss anyways? "Ho... ta... ru?" Mikan called softly as she drifted off to sleep.

"I don't know..." She lifted her blankets up to Mikan's chin and touched her forehead. it only got worse and the wet towels only warmed up, disregarding its purpose. "RUKA!" She called out irritated.

He opened the door a bit, he face filled with sweat and paleness.

"Where is that doctor we called millenniums ago?"

"Um... you may want to see him yourself..." Ruka scratched his head sheepishly.

"You.. SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME HE ARRIVED ALREADY! Mikan's still burning of fever!" She crossed her arms in anger.

"I was... uh... we were shocked..." He couldn't find the right words to express the situation.

"Just bring him in." She let out an impatient sigh, "I don't have the time to deal with you Ruka!" She chuckled and he blushed. He coughed out uncomfortably.

"Then do you have the time to deal with them?" He cleared his throat as he spotted two figures walking towards the room they were in.

"Huh?" Hotaru narrowed her eyes in the direction Ruka was pointing. the door squeaked and in came a pair of worn out sneakers and another pair of red flats. Silence filled the air as Hotaru glanced at the both of them. Before she took in the face of the two, she carefully took note of the both of them. The owner of the sneakers had raven colored hair, the same style as Ruka's. He had a lab coat on over a plain white shirt with black jeans. The girl had strawberry blond hair pulled back in a ponytail. She held a white blouse and matching cardigan with bubblegum pink jeans.

"Luna." Hotaru growled, "What... exactly... are you doing here?" Her blue eyes dimmed and she paled in shame.

"I know I'm not welcomed here anymore but before you say anything. I wanted to apologize for everything I've done. I... I am partially to blame over Mikan and I left you guys in the dust, during the mission. I'm so sorry that I can't even forgive myself for it. I just.. Really love-" Tears sprung from her eyes and her hands wiped at them furiously. As if she didn't allow herself to cry. "I only thought about Kuonji the whole time... so I left Natsume and saved him instead."

"What are you doing here then?" Hotaru crossed her arms. "Did you possibly think that we'd blame you? Mikan doesn't want an apology."

"Yes... I know." She smiled a little, remembering how her mother Yuka never blamed her for anything too. "I owe you guys a lot. This was the least I could do..." She stopped behind the man who seemed a little confused with the whole conversation they were in.
