He's the one who stole my memories!

For a moment, the birds stopped chirping and the room dimmed. It was as if, everything stopped for just a few seconds.

That's how it felt for Natsume. He fell to the side, breathing heavy and sweating buckets.

"Natsume!" Ruka ran over but Natsume refused his help,

"I'm alright." He croaked.

"Mikan, Natsume couldn't have stolen your memories. He's been gone for a while." Misaki reassured her, "There's no way he would-"

"I saw him..." her lips quivered, "I know those eyes! They're the only thing I can remember. He told me, 'Your love, kills'! He's the one who took everything from me!" She yelled. "HE TRIED TO KILL ME!!"

"Natsume has no reason to do that to you. He escaped the Academy just to see you safe and retrieve your lost memories of us." Ruka kneeled before her and told her all about his attempts to save her but she didn't listen.

Her eyes turned red and she glared at Natsume.

"He will pay..." She whispered as sat on her knees now. Her hair hung over her face.

"Huh?" Yuu asked. Mikan put a hand to the wall to support her as she stood up. Koko widened his eyes and stood in front of her.

"Don't do it, Mikan. Don't let it control you!" Koko repeated out to her. The gang glanced at him and turned their head to the side.

Hotaru began to question, "Koko... what is she-"

Too late, Mikan shoved him against the wall and he groaned in pain as he landed on the floor. She stood by and towered over Natsume who was still on his side. He huffed and glanced up at her. He smiled.

"Mikan..." he mumbled and closed his eyes, "I'm sorry I was gone too long..." He said between breaths.

She jumped on him, screaming. Hotaru held her waist up and pulled her back as the others restrained her from Natsume. Ruka took him and Tsubasa help him to his bed. Sumire stood by to see if Koko was alright and tending to his bruise.

"What's your problem?" Hotaru made Mikan face her. She noticed that Mikan had a mean glare and vivid red eyes. 

She struggled against Hotaru's grip so she had no choice but to slap her; hard.

"Mhm!!" She held her cheek and fell to her knees out of shock. The only thing that she did was bite her lip and stare at the ground and hold back the tears that were beginning to form.

"Snap out of it!" Hotaru snapped, a vein popping at the top of her head, "What's gotten into you?"

"..."

"Ruka, Tsubasa, Yuu..." She gulped, "take her to the cell down stairs. I need to talk to Natsume."

Once they approached her, she fought and kicked them. Since they didn't like to hurt girls, Subaru had to use his pain Alice to knock her out.

She screamed in agony but she finally settled down.

Hotaru slumped to the ground the instant they closed the door.
