I was feeling so much better when I woke up the next morning. All I needed to do was get some healthy food and water in my system. Gosh, I was an idiot sometimes. I rolled out of bed and walked out to my living room where I found Harry sleeping on the couch. The telly was still on and he had a bag of crisps on his stomach.
What was he still doing there? I assumed hadn't left since he was in the same clothes he was in the day before. He must have been watching the telly last night and had fallen asleep. Harry had a tendency to fall asleep anywhere. I walked over to him and sat down on the floor beside him. I wondered if he was weirded out by me kissing him last night.
I just felt like I needed to do it. He didn't seem to mind. I pursed my lips and combed his curls away from his face. Harry shook and opened his eyes, looking at me. "Hi," I said, smiling cheekily.
"Babe," he said, yawning and curling up into a ball. "Good morning. Are you watching me sleep?"
I nodded my head, laughing. "What are you doing here? Why haven't you gone home?"
"I didn't want to leave you all alone. You're so sick."
"I'm fine," I said to him.
"Promise me something, Riley."
"What?"
"Don't fucking drink anything but water for the next month. Understood, babe?" I burst out laughing and nodded my head. "I'm going home today."
"For Gemma's birthday?" I asked him. He nodded.
"You're coming with me."
"Am I?"
"You've got off, right?"
"No, I've got work," I said to him.
"No, you're going to be calling in right now and telling them that you're sick and you'll be needing the weekend off."
"Harry, that's a lie," I gasped, dramatically, clutching my chest.
"It's a lie you're going to have to tell because I'm taking you home with me. We can take a break from all this pretending and just relax."
"Okay!" I grinned, jumping up off the ground and running towards my bedroom to get my stuff ready.

I was easily let off at work since I'd never asked for a vacation since I'd started. I packed my bags and headed out with Harry. He made a stop at his flat to grab his bags and then we were off. It was a roughly three hour drive and when we arrived, Harry ran inside to surprise his Mum.
I grabbed my things and walked inside to find the mother and son in the middle of an embrace. "Hi," I said, grinning cheekily as I rushed over to Anne.
"Hi, sweetie," she said giving me a hug. "So glad you came."
"I'm happy to be here," I said.
"I'll be going to get the rest of the bags," Harry said, walking out of the kitchen. He was grinning like crazy. He walked out of the house to get our bags and I turned to Anne who was beaming. She always loved it when Harry came home to see her. It didn't happen that often so when he did come, it made it that much more special.
"Is he doing alright?" Anne asked me.
I nodded my head. "He's been fine. Just busy with work and all."
"Yeah," Anne said. "He's taken on so much at such a young age but it's his dream and I'm happy."
"He's happy too," I said to her. Anne laughed, her eyes tearing up a little.
