Chocolate

London was covered with a blanket of thick, soft, white snow the beginning of January. I always loved this time of the year because I loved the thought of cold weather and being bundled up in my flat with a hot cup of cocoa while watching marathons of reality TV that I should hate but evidently love.

This year, however, I wasn't alone.

Since New Year's, Harry's been around my flat quite a lot which isn't different from last year except this time we've been having a lot of sex.

And I'm not complaining because it's amazing. But the thing is, we haven't spoken about it. Ever since Niall and Liana's party there has been this unspoken agreement between us to just have sex even though he hasn't broken things off with Emma and I still had Chris. Which sounds awful, but for the time being I think it's amazing. What's better than having sex with your really attractive best friend and then sharing pizza afterwards and watching telly? I'll answer that for you.

Nothing.

So, Harry's been joining me during my cold weather tradition. He comes over and we make hot cocoa, grab all my blankets and make a fort on my couch and watch TV.  Sometimes we'll wait until we can't stand it anymore and rip our clothes off each other's bodies or sometimes we'll get it out of the way as soon as Harry walks in through the door because we're too eager.

No one knows at the moment except for Louis who had been the one to initiate it during the party. Harry tells him everything as it is and this is just another secret.

After a consecutive 8 or 9 days of doing this, a big storm came down and snowed so hard that the roads became blocked. I stayed in my flat, naturally and caught up on some sleep. When I woke up the next day, Liana called me and she sounded extremely excited which was pretty common when it came to her.

"Riley, are you up?" she screamed into the phone. "Tell me you are up."

"I'm up, Liana," I grumbled. "Or else I wouldn't have answered my phone. What are you so excited about?"

"Have you looked outside?"

"Yes."

"It snowed!" she squealed, full of glee.

"It's been snowing, Li. Why is this news to you? Have you and Niall not left your bed these past few days?" I snickered at my comment as I padded out of my bedroom and out into my kitchen where I put a kettle on the stove to get some tea prepared. I was shivering from the cold and wanted to warm up.

I could feel Liana rolling her eyes from the other end. "Very funny, but no. It's snowed, yes but it's like perfect snow. It's perfect snowball fight snow."

I peeked out my window and Liana was right. The snow was soft but thick enough to make into balls and smash into someone's face. Sounded like my kind of good time. "Are you proposing something?" I asked cheekily.

"Yes," she said, laughing. "Come over. We're all getting together and having a snowball fight outside. Then afterwards we'll come back to ours and drink hot chocolate and chat or whatever."

"Sounds really good," I said. "I'll be over in an hour two then?"

"Alright, see you then!"

"See you!"

When I got to their apartment complex, I found Liam and Louis already outside in the garden area, kicking around the snow. The garden of course was no longer green. You could hardly see the ground, let alone any bushes and what not. "Hi guys," I waved, walking over to them. I had worn my biggest coat, beanie, gloves and boots. I was relatively warm and cozy but my face was freezing up.
