*Josh's POV*

I woke up exhausted. I barely slept because I was up late texting Shay. I learned a little bit more about her, but I don't know. I feel like there's a bit more to her that I'm dying to know. I stayed in bed and ran my hands through my hair, shaking my head. I can't fall for this girl. I need to keep my eyes on my career.

All my thoughts were crashed when I heard a laugh. I knew that laugh. It was Shay's soft, heart stopping laugh. I smiled and I quickly bolted to check my hair in the mirror. I splashed on some cologne and brushed my teeth quickly. When I stepped out, I smiled.

Shay and Jillian sat at the kitchen table, sipping Starbucks and laughing at a joke Niall said. I watched as Shay turned to me and smiled her dazzling smile. I walked up to her and gave her a friendly kiss on the cheek and a tight hug.

"Good morning, sleepy head." Shay said, smiling at me. "We got you guys some Starbucks, but we didn't know what you wanted so I got you an iced green tea latte because you ordered it the other day and--"

Poor thing was rambling. Not that it bothered me anyways. That accent was the most adorable thing I've ever heard. I cut her off by kissing her on the cheek again, making her blush and turn her attention to her frappacino. I turned to Niall and saw that he was having a hushed conversation with Jillian, who was blushing like mad and nodding.

"Shay, can I have a word with you?" I asked before taking her hand and walking her to my room. I groaned inwardly. I should have pulled her into the other boys' room. Mine was a mess, but Shay didn't seam to mind. She sat on the bed and looked at me, waiting for my conversation. "I think we should try to get Niall and Jillian together."

Shay smiled, her eyes widening. "I was about to tell you the same thing! She was smiling nonstop last night and she had a permanent smile plastered onto her face."

I smiled at her and sat beside her. "So, you think we should do it today? I mean, the earlier the better, right?"

Shay nodded, looking excited. "Of course we should!"

I stood up and helped her off the bed. "How's your leg?"

She smiled at me and scrunched up her nose. "A little sore, but I can walk."

We laughed and walked back to the kitchen, where Niall and Jillian didn't realize we were gone. I helped Shay into her chair as I stood beside her, waiting for Niall to realize I was there. Soon enough, he looked up, with a smile on his face, looking over at me and Shay.

"Josh! You're up!" He said, hugging me. I smiled at him and gave Jillian a friendly kiss on the cheek and a hug.

"Good morning, Jillian." I said, chuckling. "So, Shay and I were wondering if the four of us wanted to go to the mall in a few minutes."

Niall nodded. "That sounds like fun."

I jogged over to my room and looked out the window. It was beginning to look a lot like winter, but the snow wasn't falling yet. I wore a simple long sleeve, jeans and my Supras. I grabbed a jakcet from the closet and soon, we were outside, loading the car.

When we got into the car, Paul smiled at the girls. "Now, who are these lovely ladies?"

Niall wrapped one arm around Jillian and one around Shay. "Paul, this is Shay and Jillian. Their our new friends."

Paul hugged the girls. "Any friends of the boys are friends of mine."

When we were all in the car, I noticed Shay shiver. I looked over at her and saw that she was only wearing a simple cardigan. I shook my head and peeled off my jacket and draped it over her shoulders. I watched Shay smile at me and put the jacket on. Shay looked better in that jacket then I did.
