"And then there were six!" Shouted Bradley as he walked through the warehouse door with Mac and I following behind.
It opened up into a huge room, every inch filled with shelves and boxes, you could see that most had already been opened and the contents was spread around the area.

Bradley led us straight through what seamed like their storage area to a staircase at the back. He climbed up, taking two steps at a time with us hurrying along behind him. It led to a long hallway, almost the length of the room below, with 3 rooms coming off either side that appeared to be offices. As I reached the last step, the door at the very end of the hallway opened and a poked her head around the door way.

"Six?" She questioned Bradley as she peered around him to see me and Mac.

"Yep," he replied, "This is Mac and his sister Euna" he gestured towards us.

"I'm Alex" said the red head, she looked me up and down and I remembered that I was still in my pink pyjamas with my leather jacket in my hand and my messy brown hair tied up in a pony. "I have some spare clothes that might fit you"

"Thank you" I barely muttered. Alex was a little intimidating, especially when paired up with Bradley's company beside me.

"Now!" Announced Bradley "we need to sort out sleeping arrangements."

"Sleeping arrangements" I questioned "there's six of us and six rooms, why would we need to sort anything out?"

"Well, you're right in saying that there are six rooms, but only four can be used as accommodation. You see, one is the bathroom and another has been used to store all spare furniture from the other four."

"So we're sharing" said Mac. It had been his first words since coming inside the warehouse.

"Unfortunately so"

"Well I'm already sharing so this is between you guys" Said Alex as she disappeared into her room, shutting the door behind her.

"Well" continued Bradley "I guess its just us. Alex and Thomas are already sharing, I'm on my own and so is Mary. And there's one extra room."

"I'm not sharing!" Said a female voice from behind the door opposite Alex's room, I guess that was Mary.

"Go figures" sighed Bradley, "I guess that means I am. Euna, you get the spare room." He pointed to the door next to Mary's room. "And Mac, your with me." The room opposite mine.

Mac and I were sent down to the basement to see if there were any spare blankets while Bradley went to track down Thomas, he hadn't been seen since he told Bradley to show us around.

"You going to tell me what's up?" Mac asked as soon as we were alone.

"Nothings up." I lied.

"Come on Eu, I saw you'd been crying when you rode past me."

"Fine." I suppose it was just me and Mac now, us and a group of strangers we'd just met. He deserved to know if I wasn't okay with our current situation. "They're people Mac. They have families and friends and we just rolled up and started killing them."

"We didn't kill them" he said very slowly, "They were already dead. They're not people anymore, just things, creatures after nothing but food." He bussied himself going through the boxes that were in front of us. "They're not people" he repeated as he found a blanket and started to walk up the stairs to the main area. "Besides, we didn't kill anyone. You just sat in a truck." With this he was gone.

"Seems you've been around Bradley too much" I muttered under my breath. I've never seen my brother so cold. I suppose he's been stressed out, first loosing Eric and now's been his only chance to take out his anger on the infected.

I grabbed some blankets from the box Mac had left and made my way towards my room. The room was completly empty I guess they put everything into the fifth room. I layed my blankets down, took off my boots and jacket and turned off the light. I'll see Alex in the morning for those clothes.
