Bradley and Alex opened the main gate to let her in, which of course I objected to. Just as I start to make new friends she comes along and ruins everything. They were talking in the main room, making sure she wasn't infected and such. I had gone upstairs as soon as I saw who it was, I'm not dealing with her, not now, not ever.

After a few minutes of silently sulking there was a knock on my door, "Euna, can I come in?" It was Mary.

"Go away" I had made myself quite comfortable wrapped up in my blanket pile and did not wish to move to accommodate someone else. Especially someone who had been getting on swimmingly with our newest arrival.

"Listen, Euna. I know I only met you this morning, but I can tell you're bothered by Freya, what's up-"

"Don't say her name" I snapped "I don't ever want to hear her name!" lets just say that Freya and I have had... issues in the past and Mac wouldn't be amused when he got back.

"Well... Bradley made some lunch ready for when the others get back, come down when you want some" I heard her footsteps walk away from my door and get quieter as she walked down the stairs. I knew that sooner or later I'd have to face Freya, I just wanted to delay it as much as I could.

After a while I started to get peckish, I opened my door slowly and stuck my head out. I couldn't see anyone upstairs and couldn't hear anyone speaking downstairs. I walked, closed the door behind me and padded down the stairs in my socks. I didn't see anyone in the main room, I walked over to the precariously placed pan that was on top of the camping strove. Bacon. Fucking bacon. In the middle of nowhere. Made on a bloody camping stove. Bacon. The stove was still on, keeping it hot, brilliant. There was a loaf of bread on the side next to the stove so I took two slices, stuffed the remaining two bacon rashes in, took a paper plate from the pack on the side and walked back up the stairs to my room. I'd no idea where the others were but at the moment I was quite alright with my own company until Mac was back. Besides... I had bacon. Fucking Bacon.

Mary came back after a while, I let her in this time and we chatted for a while.. until we heard a scream. We jumped up and I grabbed my bat before we headed down the stairs, joined by Alex who looked like she had just woken up, and out to the front of the warehouse. Of course it was Freya. She hadn't changed much from the last time I saw her, she had long blonde hair that, for once, was tied back. She had very distinctive eyes, one was brown and the other was green, my eyes were the exact same shade of green, but of course she suited the colour better. She had a bright yellow tank top on with a golden miniskirt, she was like a glowing beacon for the infected saying "free food here" I'm not one to believe in stereotypes, but she had dumb blond written all over her.

"Where's the fire." I said in a sarky tone, I have no time for her. There were no infected anywhere close and no immediate danger, so why'd she scream?

"Oh my god now is not the time to be rude!" she wined, "I could of been getting attacked-"

"But you weren't," interrupted Alex, "and all the noise you're making will just draw them closer so chill out."

"Chill out? You want me to chill out? Listen, I haven't changed my clothes in three days, there's no hot water, my jacket got torn and look at my hair! It's impossible for me to chill!" Mary grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her hard.

"My family is dead!" She yelled, "I watched my little sister get bitten as I ran! I've had to kill countless infected and cook for this entire group of people! I've orchestrated raids and supply runs and you're moaning about your fucking hair!" Mary was still shaking Freya when we heard a truck horn from the end of the road.

"They're back" Alex sighed in relief and turned to me, "ready to head out?" She asked. "I could teach you how to fight while we're out there." I nodded and walked over to help her open the gate, propping my bat against the fence. Let's see what the worlds become.
