Chapter 6 - Hobbies

"Well... I guess it could work..." Said Alex as she circled around me. "I mean, fashion isn't exactly the main priority but you don't want to look like a complete morron." I went to Alex for some spare clothes like she'd offered before I ventured downstairs, surprisingly they fit pretty well. I mean, the black t-shirt was a little baggy and the camo jeans were a little ripped but they were in pretty good condition considering.
"Thanks Alex," I said as I picked up my pyjamas and turned towards the door.
"Welcome," she said, "I'm heading downstairs to see if there's any food." We both exited her room, I stopped to put my pyjamas and jacket in my room. Before following Alex downstairs.

"Fooooood" Alex shouted, as we walked further into the main room I saw a figure hunched over what looked like some sort of stove. "Morning Mary " said alex and she sat next to the girl cross legged.

"Morning" Mary handed Alex a small bowl of what looked like beans and rice before standing and turning to me. "You must be Euna," she said, "Your brother left with Thomas this morning, didn't you want to go with them?"

"Mac left?" I asked. I hadn't spoken to Mac since this last night and assumed he was either down here in the main room or had slept in.

"Yes," she said and pushed the round glasses she had onto her head. "I thought he would of told you. He and Thomas went to the supermarket about an hours drive from here to see if it'd already been raided or not. He said once they've scouted it out and it was clear they'd come get us."

"Oh" I said, clearly unamused. Mary handed me a bowl resembling the same thing she gave Alex and I sat opposite the two, "No, no Mac didn't tell me anything." I started eating and Mary filled a bowl of her own and relaxed next to Alex.

After a few minutes, we had all finished our food so I deided to speak up, "Where Bradley?" I asked as Mary got up and collected the bowls.

"Probably out back like always" Muttered Alex.

"Out back?" I asked, when we arrived in the early hours of the morning Thomas dropped us off at the main entrance to the warehouse inside the fence, the area was just big enough to fit the truck in beside the building and I couldn't see another from the outside "What's out back?"

"Go see" said Alex with a grin, "if you're anything like me you'll like it."

I got up and stretched before I walked out of the open front door and made my way around to the back of the warehouse. There, leaning against the wall was a red Harley Davidson and Bradley, knelt beside it messing about with something on the engine.

"So this is what you do" I said, Bradley didn't seem to notice my presence until I spoke so he jumped a little at the found of my voice. "Sorry" I said "didn't mean to sneak up on you" I went down to his level.

"You like her?" He asked, nodding towards the bike and wiping his hands on his grey shirt.

"Yeah" I said, I always thought that motorbikes were the greatest thing, but I didn't have a clue about them. "Where'd you find it?"

"It was my sister's" he said, "She wasn't home when it all kicked off, I left it there when I came with Thomas and Alex incase she came back but I went to check and it was still there, so I took it."

Bradley wiped his face with his shirt and got up. "It ran out of gas on the way here but we don't have any cans to get more. We're lucky we could fill the truck up yesterday before we found you or else we would of been fucked."
Maybe Bradley wasn't as bad as I had first thought. "Shall we?" He gestured towards the front of the warehouse.

"Sure," I said and he pulled my up from where I was knelt. We walked around the building and as we were about to head through the door something caught my eye. "Hey, wait up" I said and walked towards the fence.

"What are you doing?"

"I saw something" I shielded my eyes against the Sun and looked towards what I thought I saw a way down the road.

Unfortunately, it was exactly what I thought it was, or should I say who I thought it was.
