"Just stop Sophia, please just stop!"

"What mom?! Why don't you believe me?!"

"Because he would never do that, you know how much he loves you... And Louis"

"Yeah sure mom, you just... Argh you know what I don't know why I'm even trying when I knew you wouldn't believe me."

"What's that supposed to mean Soph?"

"It means you are so caught up with your new boyfriend 'Jason' that you hardly even have time for me and Louis... Do you know how much he misses you?! Or are you just oblivious to us?"

"Soph... You know that's not true, you know how busy I've been at work"

"Oh yeah... Work my ass, unless work is Jason's dick you ain't been busy nothing, you're just busy shagging him and his perverted self."

She automatically slaps my face, I gasp and hold my cheek, while facing away from her, staring endlessly at our beige walls. "How dare you say that to me, how dare you speak to me like that! Who do you think you are?!"

I turn my head slowly and look her straight in the eye. " I think I'm your daughter, actually wait am I even your daughter? Because I am NOTHING LIKE YOU! And you know what I'm kinda greatful because you are disgusting and you make me sick!"

I quickly turn away from her and start to walk towards the front door but I'm stopped.

"Soph... I... I"

I start to walk again

"SOPHIA ROSE COME BACK HERE!"

I turn round sharply "No mom! I don't wanna hear it, I don't wanna look at you! I don't wanna hear you, I don't wanna see you and I DON'T WANNA BE NEAR YOU!"

"Soph don't say that" her voice is barley even a whisper.

"NO I HATE YOU!"

I didn't hear her say a word after that. I could sense her watching me from the front door as I stormed out into the warm summer night. I could tell she was crying by now, I heard it in her voice and could see it in her eyes. We were always arguing. Started out as one or two every so often but then it was like two or three every week. I got so tired of them, they were pointless really but not that one, that was serious because of those words 'I hate you'. I wished I'd never said them because God knows I never meant them, my anger just forced them out... I loved her real-

I'm suddenly bought back to reality from my name being called over and over again. I blink a few times and realise Miss Sky and the class all have their eyes glued to me.

"Sophia have you returned to planet earth?" The class let out little chuckles

That's embarrassing...

"Er..yes miss" as I answer I can feel my cheeks burning crimson red.

"Good, well continue reading from page 64, the last page."

We're reading Romeo & Juliet... The all time tragic love story written by the legendary William Shakespeare. Both lovers end up tragically killing themselves because neither could live without each other. Ha! What a bunch of bull. There is no such love like that... Is there?

I'm bought back to reality once again by the clearing of Miss Sky's throat. I slowly look at her.

"We're waiting Sophia"

Start reading Soph. Everybody is waiting come on, OPEN YOUR MOUTH!

"Erm... What's here? A cup closed in my true love's hand? Poison, I see, hath been his timeless end: O churl...drunk all an left no friendly drop, to help me after? I will kiss thy lips; haply some poison yet doth hang on them, to make die with a restorative..."

Hhmm... She must really love him to die for him and he must have really loved her to kill himself for her. Maybe there is a kind of love like that.

This is my first time ever writing a story... at first I didn't think I'd write a story on here but then I got a little inspiration from somewhere.
