Chapter 9- Nana's Here

I stare at my bite marks in the mirror; I grab some foundation and carefully cover them up as best as I can. I take a step back to see if they're noticeable but thankfully they're not. I wrap a scarf round my neck just to be safe. I check myself over before grabbing my bag and exiting my room. I run downstairs and call Louis to hurry down for his breakfast; he shouts down that he's coming. As I grab our bowls the doorbell rings, I stop that I'm doing and walk to the door. As I open it I'm greeted by my loving Nana Lily.

"Nana!" I say hugging her

"Hello my darling" she laughs

"I've missed you Nana" I pull away from our hug

"Oh I've missed you too. Look how beautiful you are." She strokes my face

"I'm glad you're finally here, how was your flight" I grab her bags and lead her into the living room

"I know I would have been here yesterday but those people at the airport are complete idiots, they messed up the damn flight... but other than that my flight was lovely."

"Well that's good, you're here now"

"Yes, now where's my little Lou Bear? I'm dying to see him"

I laugh "He's just finishing getting ready for school; he'll be down in a minute"

Just then I hear Louis running down the stairs, he calls out my name.

"Soph who was at the do-" he stops as he comes into the living room. "Nana, you're here!" He runs and hugs her

"Lou Bear, oh how I've missed you and those cheeks!" She squeezes his cheeks

"Nana please stop" he groans

"Alright I'm sorry, you're just so adorable" she kisses the top of his head

"I know I am" he gives a big grin

I roll my eyes at him. I hear another knock at the door, as it opens we hear Nicki

"Hey ho, it's Nicki at the door" she says walking in

"We're in here Nick" I reply

"Hey my beautiful people... Oh my Nana Lily you're here finally!" She says hugging her

"Hello gorgeous, it's been a while since I've seen you. Did you grow? If so stop growing!" She replies

Nicki and I have been friends since as long as I can remember. She's more than just my best friend, she's my sister. Nicki's become part of the family, everyone loves her to bits. Sometimes they love her more than me...

We all stand their smiling at each other.

"Sophia you look so much like your mother." She says hold my face

"Really?" I reply

"Yes you look exactly like her when she was your age, same attitude as well" We all laugh

"Hey Nana, we have go to school now, so I don't know what you're going to do..." I say

"Don't you worry about me dear, I'm going to meet up with some old friends of my, we're gonna have a girls day out." She replies picking up her bags; she kisses us all before walking out of the room.

"You kids have a good day at school; work hard and stay out of trouble see you later."

We all say our goodbyes before getting our bags and heading out to school.

"We missed breakfast, here's some extra money Lou buy something at break okay?" I tell him giving him some money
