Chapter 7-The Abandoned Hallway

Devon's P.O.V

As I walk through the cafeteria I feel all the girls eyes on me, I smirk to myself. I catch eyes with the cheerleaders and give them a quick wink; I hear them giggle amongst themselves.

I see Trey, Aaliyah and Marcus sitting at our usual table; they all look up and smile at me.

"Wassup bro?" Trey says while we do our manly greeting

"Great as always Trey, how you doing?" I say smiling

"I'm cool" Trey replies

"Hey De" Aaliyah says grinning at me

"How you doing good looking?" I wink at her

"Yo have you forgotten someone?" Marcus says frowning at me.

"Mate, I could never forget you!" I say with shocked expression, we all laugh.

"So anyone new yet D?" Trey asks

"What do you mean?" I raise my eyebrow

"You know what we mean?" Marcus smirks at me

I laugh at their faces "No but don't worry I got my eye on someone." I get up and smile at them before turning to leave

"And where are you going?" They all question in sync...Freaky

"Somewhere..." I reply slowly walking away

"As always, see you later... Don't get in trouble" Aaliyah demands

"Ha, trouble is my middle name" I walk out the cafeteria and make my way to my usual spot... The abandoned hallway

I run my hand through my hair and hum as and I walk to the abandoned hallway. I see two figures walking in my direction, as they get closer I try to make out their faces. It's Blake and Zack, they look like there in a bit of a hurry, I over hear some of their conversation as they walk towards me.

"Are you fucking mad? Do you realise what you were just doing?" Zack questions

"Yeah I know, but I wasn't thinking straight was I? I don't care she's still mine" Blake replies

"You're lucky I came or you might have gone too far..." Zack finishes

Huh who's she? What's he done?

As they're right by my side I have direct eye contact with Blake. He has a sinister look in his eye; I shrug him off and continue to walk.

I turn the corner to the abandoned hallway, I feel myself smile as I come to the place where I can be alone. I begin to hum again but I soon stop as hear a faint cry. I squint my eyes to try and check if I can see anything, when I don't see anything I think I'm hearing things so I start to walk again. I hear the cry again, I call out a 'hello' but I get no reply, I grab my phone, switch on the flashlight and scan the area. I stop in my tracks as I see her laying there still, her body seems lifeless.

What am I supposed to do?

I crouch down beside her and check to see if she's breathing. "Erm Sophia?"

"Yo can you hear me?" I nudge her arm. "Hello?" I shine my light on to her face, she's conscious but drowsy.

I slowly sit her up, and that's when a notice the deep red bite marks on her neck.

"Who did this to you?" I ask in calm tone

"I...I do-" She starts to come round

I notice the bite marks are slightly bleeding.
