Chapter 1-Questions

Is there a love like that? Was Romeo and Juliet's love a real thing? Do Blake and I have that? Could we have that? I ask myself all these questions just as the bell rings; the silence is broken by the sound of everybody shuffling around and talking. I get up, pack my things in my bag and make my way out of class. Whilst walking to my locker I see Nicki coming towards me.

"Hey Soph ready to go?" she asks with a massive grin on her face.

"Yeah, let me just put my books away." Once at my locker, I grab my books out my bag and stuff them in my locker. "Okay lets go." I shut my locker door and start to walk with Nicki.

"Soph is Blake meeting us in the dance studio?" she says breaking the comfortable silence between us.

"Uhmm but he said he's gonna be like half an hour late" I answer while looking through my messages.

"Oh why?"

"Erm... he's got coursework to finish," I reply still looking through my phone. That didn't sound right... I mean the way she asked. "Why?" I look up from my phone to see her staring at me.

"Erm n-n-no reason, just wondering." She looks down.

"You sure Nicki? I mean you know you can tell me anything right, remember we're best friends, we tell each other everything."

"I know babe, don't worry its nothing really!" She looks up and has a small smile on her face.

"Yay! Okay, good."

We walk into the dance studio and throw our bags down on the floor. Nicki sits in the big sofa next to the music system, and I start changing into my dance stuff.

"Shall I get the CD out your bag babe?"

"Yup you can do." I finish changing and start to warm up.

"I found it!" Nicki screams whilst holding up the CD. I laugh whilst getting up to stand in my starting position. Nicki switches the system on puts the CD in and presses play.

I don't wanna go there

We should never go there (damn)

Why you wanna go there?

I guess I gotta go there

Where is Blake? He's supposed to be here by now; I need him.

"Hey babe, sorry I took so long the coursework took longer than I thought."

I stop and turn to see a very happy looking Blake walking towards me.

"Hey, it's okay. It's coursework, it had to be done."

"I know but I said only be half an hour"

"Babe you're only a tiny bit late, besides I weren't alone I have Nick with me" I point towards her, Nicki looks down at her phone whilst we stare at her
