CHAPTER SEVENPeyton's pov:
Have you ever had that one friend that can just make every situation fun, no matter what? Well I do, so be jealous...
I've just got back from school with Patrick. It's our last evening alone before the family arrive home from their business vacation, probably more vacation than business though.
We are currently both resting on the sofa playing a random video game I have never seem, nor heard of.
I'm wondering what to do with my evening, it's only 4:00pm and Kristie is going out in half an hour.
"Patrick, should we invite people over?" I ask, hopefully.
"What?" He questions, not even bothering to look over to me, whilst he blasts zombies with an over-sized flame thrower.
"Like invite Mae over or someone? I'm bored" I whine. He nods his head in approval, but I'm already half way up the stairs to text Mae.
Peyton:
If you love me, you'll come over to mine, like now? XxMae:
I'm busy with Archie though :c xxPeyton:
You're picking a dog over me? Rude! XD xxMae:
Fine I'll be there in 10 >:c XD xxPeyton:
Wooo! I win!!!!! XxI quickly tossed my phone back on my bed, chuckling and I proceeded downstairs to tell Patrick that Mae's arriving soon. You'd think that the both of them dating would be harsh on me, but it's a normal thing now.
Occasionally me and Patrick fight over her, but all three of us just hang out together. Surprisingly it never feels like I'm a third wheel because we are all best friends...
I head into the sitting room, where I assumed Patrick would be, but he wasn't there. So I then headed into the kitchen, but he was still nowhere to be seen. After a couple of minutes searching the house and calling his name repeatedly, I heard a car engine roar outside in the front yard. I quickly ran to the front door and opened it to see Patrick outside in his black lambo.
He rolled down the window once he saw me running over. I shoot him a questioning look as to why he's in his car.
"Picking up Jay" Patrick exclaims bluntly, somehow reading my mind.
"But Mae's coming over!!" I object.
"Well have girlie time then, or just hang with us..."
"Ugh, fine! Mae will be here soon though..." I state, then spin on my heel and head back inside, planning what me and Mae could do.
Ah-ha! Brownie and shortbread baking! Ahh yum. I can feel my belly rumbling at the sound of it...
Once Mae had finally arrived, we headed up to my room to do whatever.
I didn't plan very well... We just gossiped and sat on our our phones, until the door got rammed open as Jay and Patrick ran in and jumped on us. Trust me we're all normal...
Actually
I'm making no promises...
